Quality Inn Saint Cloud

Good St. Cloud location with lots of good eating places within walking distance. Short drive to Cross Roads shopping center. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean, good spot to relax. Didn't get a chance to try the exercise room. The rooms were clean, nothing special. Liked that it had small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Joe

Although advertiused as a non-smoking hotel with newly remodeled rooms, my room reeked of years of smoke in the walls and old carpet as soon as I opened the door. There was little lighting and at least one switch didn't work. I did not ask to move as I needed a 1st floor room in a building with no elevator and the desk clerk told me that this was the last. What furniture there was did not fit the space and the TV was facing out the window when I entered the room. It was heavy to turn to a more convenient spot. The desk chair was adequate, but not comfortable for relaxing. There was an aged jacuzzi tub which had no hand holds to get in or out - they had been broken at some point in time and not replaced. This made a nice sized shower space, but the bottom was slippery and treacherous once wet. The cleaning staff did a good job each day, but left the lights and TV on when finished.
