Motel 6 Minneapolis North Roseville

For the price I paid, I should had stayed elsewhere but overall, it was ok. I originally booked for a nonsmoking room but got a smoking room. Therefore, the room smelled like smoke with cigarette burns on the bedsheets and blankets. Overnight, the heater/cooler/fan stopped working.

The average rooms have an unknown smell, I am not sure if it was cigaret or just plain old carpeting smell. I checked in with my boyfriend. He signed in and I paid with my credit card, however they refused to give me the receipt when I checked out. I had to return later in the day with my boyfriend with his ID to get my credit card receipt.

This was your standard, no-frills motel (including the tiny shower), but I'm thrifty and don't require a lot of comfort, so I was happy with the price. The location is somewhat annoying to get to, and is in a somewhat loud area, but I would have no problems staying here again.

After reading a bunch of bad reviews, I was hesitant about having made a reservation here, but it wasn't that bad. Room was clean enough, had minimal furnishings and amenities but did the job since our needs were just a place to crash for the night. Staff were helpful and let us stay a bit extra in the morning to catch a shower after our event. It was loud-ish at night though; I would not recommend getting a first-floor room - everyone going up/down the elevator or in/out of cars is easy to hear. Location wasn't bad, not far from gas and food and such. Can't complain!

there was a mold smell in the room. And there were black hairs under the sheets on the sheet and on the towels. It was not a good part of town and was very noisy.

Website says you can get a roll-away bed, and we requested one, but when we arrived, they said that they did not have any roll-away beds. They charged you extra to use their wifi, which is FREE else where. There were bugs in the bed. And the location of it, is nice, but hard to find with all of the trees hiding the sign!

I was actually pleasantly surprised at my experience, but I am a bit of an optimist. I chose this venue purely by the low price. I only found one review for this motel and it was not very good, but I decided to give it a chance. The room was pretty clean except it could have been vacuumed a little better but other than that no bad smells, clean bathroom, comfortable bed and nice folks working in the office. Give this motel a chance.

The carpet near the bathroom, in my handicapped unit, was damp. The room smelled of urine. Late at night, until 2 am a large family party with several children ran past my room numerous times. In the morning, the manager was very apologetic about the room, and gave me 25 dollars off. I did check out a day early regardless. I had overslept my alarm and was late for the conference, due to the awful night. I had expected a minimal, utility room, but not one I felt unclean in. If it had not been so late when I checked in, I would have left, or at least changed rooms.
