Good value
Well located and reasonably clean budget hotel with friendly, helpful staff, large rooms, fridges, in-room coffee makers, and continental breakfast. I have stayed there before and they seemed to have solved the problem that the room key card never worked the first time.

Never Again
Hotel elevator was broken and we were on the third floor. Some days our room wasn't cleaned. Pillows were yellow with stains and the room was infested with bugs.

DON'T GO THERE
This hotel is furnished with early Salvation Army stuff. Nothing matched in the two rooms that I had. The carpet looked like short frayed astro-turf. Small bath room, the elevator stranded me on the forth floor. Being handicaped it was difficult getting down. Assured it would be fixed when I got back. It wasn't. They eventually cleaned out another room full of air-conditioners and mini frig. an cleaned it up on the first floor. My wife climbed up to the forth floor 5 times to bring stuff down. Now this new room had a plumbing problem when you ran water in the sink sewage came up the bath tub. No shower for me. I asked them to find me another hotel They couldn't. American Express found on at a $199 or so but the suggestion to this hotel was it would be my expense. Hotel is outdated, shabby, frayed dirty, the breakfest only had partial items available. This is the worst experience I have had at a hotel. I asked for a handicaped room, didn't get it. Folks go somewhere else. The elevator repairmen didn't have the parts to fix the problem an said they probably couldn't find them. On Sunday morning people were asking to be changed elsewhere. I don't blaim them. Everyone should be given a refund. PERIOD

Mixed Bag
Positives for anybody. Great location for my family, very clean, apparently newly refurbished, quiet, really good breakfast, great responsive staff, good access off of major highways. I enjoyed the diversity ... truckers, families, folks with pets, the guy who chain smoked just outside the front door in his robe and pajamas, the authentic looking young cowboy ... until I realized he was wearing spurs in a motel in MN ... I'm from Texas, so go figure... all at a good price. Why I might never stay there again. The wifi was down the whole time! To their credit, the staff called everyone they could, every day and night, put this bad on management who has a BAD internet provider.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
If you get the chance in Minneapolis go to Mye's Polonaise a real throwback of a rest/bar. Like walking into the 60's with a polka band most nights and piano bar.

Cheap, but still not worth it
The first room, the light switch didn't work and the tv didn't work. They put me in a different room. Everything worked. However, and this is a deal breaker, the shower barely reached lukewarm... The faucet was the same way. Apparently the hotel is trying to cut costs by keeping the water heater temps down... I'll pass on this place.

Simple, but good.
I stayed at the hotel for five nights; I arrived earlier than check-in, but the staff quickly accommodated my needs and got me into an equivalent room with no fuss. The hotel was quiet, clean, and simple - with no exceptional perks, but it got the job done for when I needed somewhere to sleep and somewhere to get some work done. It was also close to many city perks and the mall is just around the corner with some easy dining options. All in all, a good bargain.

You get what you pay for!
The price was definitely reasonable, and the front desk clerks were friendly and efficient. The room is showing some age and distinctly smelled of smoke even thought it was a non-smoking room. There was a long hair on the bath mat which I assumed belonged to the housekeeping staff. The heating unit was noisy.
