Motel 6 Rochester, MN

I brought my son here for Mayo. My room was never serviced the trash was removed once. I had to go to the office to get towels,sheets or what ever I needed. I changed my own sheets. The carpet was raveled by the door and rocks and dirt collected in there. There is a big stain just inside the door. No hair dryer in the room or shampoo, just soap. The curtain is not hung up properly,some hooks are pulled out of the rod. The excuse I got for the poor service was that an extended stay room is serviced only twice, been here 4 days and no service yet. Room needs vacuumed along walls, entire room. No bare feet in here, carpet is sticky. Been to Cancun 10 years straight and no problems there.

They were very nice and curtious. service was great House keeping was very nice to us anything we needed they were more than happy to help withcheck in was very nice when we got there they even complamented us when we were leaving about how maid service real like how nice we were. Went to a truck show in Rochester, MN. We wanted an inexpensive hotel. This was a nice place. Nothing fancy, but we didn't go on the trip to stay at a luxurious hotel, just somewhere to sleep and shower. Good, simple place to stay!

We were getting in to town late and just looking for a cheap place to get some sleep. The room was about what you would expect for the price. We didn't get to sleep until after 1 am and at about 3 am the women next door came back with a very noisy group of very intoxicated men. Even after a couple of calls to the front desk it took more than an hour to get things quieted down.

hotel carpet torn and very worn by the door, sheets never changed in 4 days, didn't even straighten the bed, we were placed in the very back next to all the road crews who were drinking most of the time and sitting with their doors open and loud sometimes.

We did not end up staying here. Our original room that we were given had not been cleaned at all - beds not made, dirty towels on the floor, etc. Then they gave us an extended stay room. It was partially cleaned - still dirty towels and wash clothes hanging in the bathroom. The room had a bad smell. One of us smelled the bedspreads and are assuming the smell was pet urine. We were able to get our money back and go elsewhere. Front desk was not very apologetic about the condition of the hotel. Previous reviews were positive and was located in a larger city so we thought it would serve our purpose. Sleeping for a few hours because we had a bowling tournament and the location was convenient. We spent over an hour driving around trying to find another hotel. We thought it was taken care of with our reservation here. It made our night a little shorter than anticipated. I would not stay here under any conditions.

For needing a place to stay for the night while visiting Rochester, the stay was just fine. There was no noise, and it suited our needs for the night. The room was clean, and the Front Desk Staff was very helpful to our needs. He even gave us directions to our destination.

We stayed at the The Motel 6 in Rochester. However, they checked us into a suite and we had reserved a regular room. We enjoyed having the extra room with extra seating, TV and kitchenette. However, at about 10 p.m. we had a knock on the door from hotel personnel to confirm our name since they checked us into the wrong room. A phone call at that time would have been nice. There was some unknown substance on the light switch in the bathroom which should have been cleaned before we checked in.

The Rochester Motel 6 is a very confortable motel, the rooms are clean the staff is friendly and I had a wonderful time over there.It was the perfect place for me and my girlfriend to spend our week long vacation. Nobody disturbed us during our stay in there so I was very satisfied.
