Bring your own pillow
Overall, the hotel was nice. It was clean, and despite appearing quite busy, it was quiet. Only real complaint was that the pillows are just about flat. More fresh fruit and perhaps eggs would have been nice at breakfast.

Fantastic Getaway for a Couple
My fiance and I were very pleased the Microtel Inn & Suites. We had a few problems with them not having a refrigerator and microwave in the room and the cleaners they used were a bit strong. We had to keep the window open the entire time because the room smelled like wet dog, but the bed was comfortable. My fiance loved the window seat!

microtel
Microtel has always maintained its facilities very well. The rooms are small, but so is the price, but if you need more room they have suites available that have microwaves, refrigerators, and kitchens. You cannot beat the value, especially when you compare it to other lower priced motels and even many of the quality motels.

Good place at resonable price
This hotel was clean and very quiet. The heating unit was quiet, but seemed to make the room hot when it ran and then it cooled off noticeably when it shut off. The television had a rather grainy picture. Breakfast was included and while not elaborate, tasted good and that area was very clean also. I would stay there again. For the money spent, it was not a bad deal at all.

Very Helpful
I originally sign on for one night. but need to stay an extra two nights, they were very helpful, with my questions and informing me of the best possibilities due to how fast they fill up during the week due to mayo clinic. They informed me to call back by 12pm to rent the room for an extra day, which I did hen I need the room for one more day after that, so I booked the room for 2 more days.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
I enjoyed the outback steakhouse which was a short drive, and the broadway pizza which is within walking distance of the microtel.

reasonable night's stay
Very nice hotel, but walls are paper thin. Had to listen to conversations on both sides unless we turned TV up

larger than normal room
Hotel was clean, but the 3rd floor is a previous smoking floor from a year ago. I could smell it in the room. The front desk explained this to me before I accepted the room. If you stay here ask for the 1st or 2nd floor and you will have a nice value.

Good one-nighter
This would b a good place to stay for 1 night. The room was on the small side & the walls were pretty thin, we could hear the conversation in the room next to us. But not bad for the price.

just right
Clean and inviting rooms (small, but just right for what I needed), good customer service, and minutes away from downtown Rochester. Good quality for a great price, and I would definitely return.

Quiet getaway
Rooms are not large, but adequate considering your not spending your time in the room. The bed was extremely comfortable. And the rooms were quiet. Yes, I could sometimes hear my neighbors, but it was not so loud I couldn't sleep. Breakfast was good. Same rolls and muffins as other places, but they seemed fresher. The TV was on, but not so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation. I've stayed in a number of hotels, and this was by far the best I've stayed in especially for the price. I'll stay in a Microtel anytime.
