Having a HyVee, high-quality, grocery store across the street offered the healthiest dining options, seriously! The free continental breakfast at the hotel is extremely refined carbohydrate-heavy; hard-boiled eggs are the only protein offered, other than the whole (!) milk, however, eggs offer less than 7grams per egg. We spent a total of three nights in the Rochester, MN area, and purchased dinner from the HyVee on two of those nights. In addition, I bought bananas (not offered at the hotel) and Special K Protein Plus cereal (also not offered at the hotel) for a much healthier breakfast option and had that for each of the three mornings.

Just what we needed!
The hotel surpassed my expectations! The room was inexpensive, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. They had a great free breakfast! The pool area was clean and had several tables and chairs. The pool water was heated and we had a great time playing with our kids in it. The hot tub was relaxing. We were pleased with our stay! It was just what we needed for a one night stay.

Young Professional
Disappointing
Not clean, terribly scratchy sheets, and thin walls. I could have overlooked the thin walls/noise if the hotel had been a little nicer or a little cleaner, but this hotel does not have much going for it.

Great, but puzzled!!
Every year I come to Pochester for a volleyball tournament. I have always stayed at the Guesthouse hotel. My concern is the chargin of my credit card. Charges were taken from my creidt card and addtional charges after I returned from my trip.I did not understand the credit card that was used was not mine when looked at the reservation at the hotel. I took a scan of the card that I originally used and I was charged an addtional $10.00 for something. I did mnot order any movies or use the phone. Please let me know what is going on. I am concerned about the charges. Please call me if you have any questions to further help you understand my concerns. 952-457-3138

There is a Famous Dave's Barbeque next door to the hotel. This is my ritual everytime I come to Rochester, is to eat at F/D.

no complaints
Went to see my grandkids. Nice warm pool. We went at the right time, had the whole pool and hot tub to ourselves. Room was comfortable, clean. Cheap rate! Good breakfast. Easy to find. I'll stay there again. Could use some games in the game room for younger kids.(Mostly teen oriented)

Great stay.
I was in town on a trip to the Mayo Clinic and the most important thing to me was quiet and a restful atmosphere. The room I had was everything I hoped for.

Great Stay at a Great Price! A++++
Great Stay. Let us check in early after a long night of driving. Famous Dave's located in the Hotel! Service excellent. Highly recommend!

Good hotel for the money
Staff was very friendly and helpful in finding out information. The Jacuzzi was very nice to relax in. The rooms were adequate with a fridge and microwave, everything was clean. Rooms are pretty sound proof as we did not hear people out in the hall. Hotel offers 10% off of Famous Daves and other local eateries close to the hotel. The Mayo shuttle runs every 50 minutes (would have liked to see it run more often) Would definetly stay here again

MORE THAN WE EXPECTED
THERE WAS A SEVERAL HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER PLAYERS STAYING AT THE HOTEL, THE NIGHT MANAGER DID NOT QUIET THEM UNTIL THEY WERE CALLED TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW AT 1:30 IN THE MORNING.. OVERALL THE HOTEL WAS GREAT VERY FRIENDLY CLEAN ROOMS GOOD PARKING GREAT POOL BUT WE LIKE TO SLEEP WHEN WE STAY AT A HOTEL.
