2009 Inn of the Year. 100 percent Smoke Free hotel. Mayo Clinic and Convention Center one mile. Perkins Restaurant located next door. Free shuttle to Mayo Clinic and hospitals. Free wireless high-speed Internet access in all rooms. Free expanded continental breakfast and 24 hour coffee available. Excellent reasonably priced motel.

Was up to expectations

Was in a single room with a queen bed. Not exactly a spacious room, but adequate for my needs. A little noisy as it is located on a busy road, and the window in the room was just a little drafty. Staff was friendly, and check in easy.

Mayo Experience

Hotel was close to Mayo Clinic and had parking on site, shuttles to Clinic, rooms were clean and neat, the wireless internet worked without problem. Located near several resturants and businesses, as well as a breakfast bar on site.

Smoke-free is nice; beds need some help

Easy to find, the ECONOLODGE OF ROCHESTER (south) is a solid option for a night. It provides a clean, quality room with ample towels and supplies. The beds in our room were also solid, but a bit too solid. The room also had a microwave and minifridge, which is a nice extra.
