ok, if on tight budget, location to Mayo clinic good.
Small room with no comfortable chair to lounge in. Had to pick up desk chair and put down near bed and door to watch TV halfway comfortable. Great home cooking restaurant attached on ground floor, but NO room service from hotel or restaurant staff. bathroom tiny also. Noisy downtown corner location.

Low grade
Would not recommend. Phone system does not work, beds are hard and very uncomfortable, sinks do not drain well, room was dirty and smelled. Have to pay for transportation to and from airport. Very unhappy with this motel.

New Husband
Old Building, but very friendly
I booked this hotel online for my wedding night. When I check in I noticed the lobby looked clean but old styled. I didn't think much of it till later that night when I brought my new bride to our room. The elevator creaked, and the hallways were dimly lit to give the place an older personality. As a new husband, thoughts of horror films and trouble ran through my mind. The room was small, 75% of the room space was the bed. Thankfully, my new bride is a history major and loved every bit of it. We both enjoyed our stay. Great friendly staff to help you with anything; for first timers, check out your room in the day to ease any fears :)

Don't expect much
Great Location. thats where the good stuff starts and ends. Facility is in bad need of a total renovation or demolition. We booked 3 rooms w/Family. Our room was a little bigger than a closet. Lighting was poor. The door brushes against the Bed Spread and barely misses the TV cabinet. Every surface in the bathroom had peeling paint. Bath fixtures were at least 60 years old. No fan. Elevator of Death! I felt more comfortable using the stairs in spite of my recent foot surgery. On the bright side, we spent more time out of the room and enjoyed the beautiful city of Rochester.

Days Inn
The room was very small as other reviewers commented. For me the room size wasn't matter because I traveled alone for a conference at Kahler hotel which was very close! I was there on Thursday and was able to enjoy the 'Thursday on First'!

Mayo Visitor
Downtown Rochester
Visiting Rochester for Mayo appointments. This hotel is extremely convenient to Mayo buildings. We were able to park for free in the hotel lot and walk to every place we needed to go! The rooms were small as mentioned by other reviewers, but they were very clean and well kept. The only issue I had staying in this hotel was the nighttime noise level. Trains, ambulances, and people yelling outside the hotel off and on all through the night.
