Primary, to see doctors at Mayo Clinic. I would like to have seen some sights around Rochester. But, I had some steak and shrimp at Ron's place and ended up with diarrhea all day and night.

Stay at La Quita Inn
We had a very good room and a good time in the pool and spa while we had my wife's appointment at the mayo Clinic for her Cancer Treatment. We were treated very well and had all the things that we needed in our room, and very good room at the Bar& Grill. thank you for your help in finding a good Room. Dean & Nelvina

La Quinta Inn
Nice clean rooms.Excellent continental breakfast good variety. Lounge/bar area nice and nice waiting staff. Great burgers. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Did not use pool or workout area but it is there if you need it.

Fantastic hotel for the price
We stayed in this hotel for our follow up visit to mayo clinic. the hotel was really nice and the hotel staff was very friendly, it was clean and quiet nice breakfast and very close to mayo. Just what we were looking for.

Very Good time
We Were treated very well while we stayed there while we were in Rochester for medical treatment. We had very nice room and espesialy good Breakfast,in the morning and meal in the Lounge at the motel. WE had a lot more fun than any time or other motels that we tried.

There are a lot of places to shop in town and very easy to find. And really good spot to stay if you are there for medical reasons.

Needs an overhaul
I was visiting Rochester while my father was having surgery at the Mayo Clinic and chose La Quinta because of the price and I have had good experiences with other La Quintas. Although the hotel is close to Mayo and easy to find, it is out of date. I was especially disappointed in the fitness center, a key feature I was looking for. The only treadmill was out of order and the rest of the equipment was very old and not in great working order. I ended up running outside, and was pleased to find a fitness trail nearby. The hotel was clean and had a good sports bar that was open late. Finally, they did have a convenient shuttle to and from Mayo. It would be a nicer place to stay if they give it a facelift.

Would have spent an extra $20/night
The room had water stains on the ceiling. The room smelled as if some lived there for a long time without showering. The bed was so uncomfortable, we tossed and turned all night. The plus was its location, close to downtown but parking was free. There was also a courtesy shuttle to the medical center, but other hotels in the area also offered.
