Great home base for sightseeing on a budget
The Ramada Minneapolis Airport West is a perfect home base for sightseeing the Twin Cities on a budget. The Richfield location is conveniently located just 5 minutes from the Mall of America and the MSP Airport, and a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. Where's The continental Breakfast?
Exactly what you would expect from the pictures, descriptions and brochures from any mid priced room with two caveats. The continental breakfast did NOT exist contrary to claims made on the site The Hot tub was tepid at best. I would stay there again if I could be certain either of these issues were fixed.

The cook in the in hotel resturaunt was amicable and provided entrees of maxiumum value and some good conversation. The Saturday morning waiter was rude and stared hatefully at me and my party when he refilled my $4.00 juice.

Fantastic journey

Convenient and welcoming
The hotel is really close to the airport and is a convenient place to stay if you're flying in late and just want a place to crash. I didn't really get to see the amenities because I was there for only one night. The customer service was excellent. [...] I got a great discount on the price. The room was what I expected for the price and it was very clean.

Okay for a one night stay
The room was good, great tv but the remote needed batteries, pool was under maintenance though the hot tub was open (but lukewarm with few bubbles). The breakfast was okay, but really the location was what was best. We were able to go to the MOA, IKEA, and other "hot spots" nearby without the price of being too close, but with the short drive.

It was fine
TV remote didn't work even when I went to the font desk and they put new batteries in. A little loud with the room next door slamming often.

Great hotel
Very nice hotel, great service and very quiet even being very close to the airport. Would be a big plus to have underground garage especially for the winter but no big deal.

Richfield Ramada - January 2011
The hotel was very accomodating. Due to weather in my final destination city, I was unable to leave on time. The hotel was very accomodating in extending my check out time. LOVED the free shuttle to the airport and Mall of America. My only complaint - due to a shift change at 11pm I was forgotten at the Mall of America Shuttle Stop for over an hour. If you are looking for a hotel with a restaurant, this is not your place, but there are plenty of food delivery options available. I would stay here again - good continental breakfast average pool/spa, very clean, nice rooms & friendly staff.
