Not bad for a bargain
The Radisson Hotel Conference Center was an obvious choice for the convention I attended. Its unique layout - with group meeting rooms in a separate wing was well suited to our group activities. The group meals were also exceptional for the price. However the room was rather small and the property's ventilation problems made the whole setting uncomfortably clammy and stuffy (though the outdoor temperature was under 80 degrees. I've NEVER stayed on a property before in my life with next to no air circulation. It took a night and day of complaints to the management to correct this problem (as if they were trying to save on their AC bill, despite a full house! Also, visitors should be warned - if you (like are) are flying into town. The hotel provides NO comp airport shuttle and the 30+ minute drive to this out-ot-the-way suburban location is costly, if you don't rent a car. However, one BIG bonus is the lovely view of a natural marshland - such an improvement from looking out onto cement parking as so many others.
