BEST WESTERN Regency Plaza Hotel - St. Paul East

Right off the highway but rooms are quiet. We didn't hear any road noise. Clean and spacious rooms and the lobby is nice and airy. There is a fitness room and a whirlpool. Rooms have refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast until 10 and noon check-out. You don't feel rushed.

Best Western's can be hit or miss but this one is a hit. The decor is modern and clean from the lobby to the halls to the rooms. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are many and fluffy. I think the beds could use another layer but I called down to the front desk and they quickly brought up another blanket. On the plus, I can tell that the bedding must be washed with each new guest. I've stayed there several times now and it's a reliable place to stay. I also stayed at the Sheraton in Woodbury, the Holiday Inn by 3M, and a couple others and honestly the bed here was the best. The other's have a hotel restaurant but I prefer to eat at the various restaurants nearby as I usually have a car. The only nit may be the heaters in some of the rooms as one time, the heater was a bit loud in turning on. NOT at all Best Westerns but at least here: I have a good night sleep, hot shower, and breakfast similar to what I would eat at home... all at a really good price.

From the moment we checked in for our two night stay to the day we left, the front desk staff could not have been more disinterested. NO greetings from ANYONE. Nobody. Never. Not even a simple hello or hi. They never once said "How may I help you?" Our key expired after the first day and I waited in line for 20 minutes to get it re-prgrammed. Not even an apology. Always uncomfortable. Won't ever stay there again.

We found the hotel clean, comfortable, affordable. We will be staying there again. Thank you.

the hotel was very clean and nice. our was very quiet. we really enjoyed our staying there. I recommend it to everyone.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful. It was a great deal for the price. Probably one of the most fancy hotels I have ever stayed at.

We spent less time in the hotel than we planned, but when we were there we weren't impressed nor were we unimpressed. The staff was nice but the room wasn't really that great for the price. Our room felt messy but there were no glaring messes.

We requested non-smoking and we could still smell smoke in the hallways. Disappointed about breakfast selection have had better in other hotels. Staff was friendly.

Good breakfast bar ... eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit, etc. Beds were comfy and rooms quiet, could have been because we were on the 3rd floor. Good restaurants close by. Close to great Woodbury shopping. Would visit again if needed.

first day wonderful then......no garbage pick up for 3 days, no bed making, no toilet paper for 3 days, maids screamed we had do not disturb sign up so no bed making (we left at 10 every morning and took sign down) WALKED OUT FRIDAY MORNING, leaving 2 nights paid but not used...........whirlpool looked dirty, only thing reliable was the USA everyday at the desk!
