I'm Staying Again Next Time in Moorhead

I make an annual trip to Moorhead at the end of April to watch my grand nephew play his piano recital at Concordia. And it fits my needs to a "T", yes that is a capital T. First it's a great location just down the road from Concordia and Moorhead State. Right by I94 so a quick trip over to Fargo and viola you are easily being entertain at may of the bars and eateries in the area. Now how does it stack up to say the other motels just down the road, saving $25 a night worth of stacking up. So you get the minimum, ordinary motel arrangement, but an excellent price. I will be staying this time next year...you can bet on that.

As Expected

You get what you pay for, actually we feel we paid too much for this hotel. Our key did not work, you had to pull it out and up and it took 3-4 times to unlock the door. The bathroom and towels were dingy, the toilet was dirty. We had a smoking room but still, c'mon people use air freshener. I am glad I brought Clorax wipes and Lysol spray to clean. We only stayed at this hotel because everything else in the area was book, but never again. I cannot believe this place is still in business. It was not even resonably priced. Very unsatisfied

DavidS - Second Review

I don't see that my review submitted last week has been posted. After 3 days, the room still had not been vacuumed. There was a folded piece of scotch tape on the floor when I got there - not stuck, just folded. House Keeping walked in on my last day because there was no "Do Not Disturb" hang tag for me to put up. She didn't listen when I yelled that I was in there. Still had no shampoo in the room. Fitted bed sheets dont' fit the bed. Heater runs for two minutes, shuts off for 30 seconds, repeat all night long. I could very clearly hear the guest upstairs urinating into his toilet. Had to dump the trash out of the dresser drawer. Had to uplug a lamp to plug my laptop and phone charger in. There was food or something crusted onto the desk that I scrubbed off. The towels were barely big enough and threadbare. Had to use both of the bath towels supplied to dry myself. And I'm a guy with short hair and narrow of girth. I did laundry and was appaled at how dirty the laundry room was. It was like housekeeping hadn't been in the space in weeks. I did not participate in the continental breakfast so cannot comment on the quality of the bagles/toast. I would not recommend this inn to anyone.

Meh

I needed an inexpensive place to stay for an unexpected trip. The staff were courteous, but nothing more than necessary. From the outside, it looks like a basic motel, nothing fancy. The taxi driver assured me that it was nice inside. In the room, there was a dried crust of some sort (maybe food) on the desk, the porcelin is broken around the drain of the tub showing bare steel, the faucet for the shower is hard to pull out - to the point I couldn't tell if it is supposed to pull out. The towels are small and worn thin. There was no shampoo in the room. The fitted sheet doesn't fit the mattress. The floor could have used a better vacuum job. While other hotels in the area are fully booked, there are only a few guests checked in here. They do have free coffee.

Disgusting

This was a horrible hotel. The room was dirty, it smelled awful, the sheets had cigarette holes in them even though it was a non smoking room. The beds were VERY uncomfortable and didn't even have fitted sheets. There were moths all over the room and some gross black sticky stuff on the floor...eww. Overall just a really bad experience.

[...] I went to my room only to find out the heat didn't work.(15 degrees outside) I had to move to a different room, No TV remote, no soap in the bathroom. I would advise anyone to steer clear of this place!!

We had to change rooms three times, the first two smelled awful! The third room smelled like dog pee, but there were no more available, so we took it (being the best smelling). Will not be coming back.

Decent Inn

Very inexpensive, but clean and efficient. No complaints, considering a very low price.
