with in walking distance to Target Center!!

We chose Westin because it was within walking distance to Target Center, as we were attending a Timberwolves game that evening. Our check in was quick and the front desk staff were very kind. The pool and fitness area were very modern and unique. The hot tub was very relaxing. When we entered our room we were pleasantly surprised. The beds were heavenly to sleep and lie on. The bathroom was bright and very roomy. I did however find a plastic zip lock bag left over, (I assume) from a previous guest that housekeeping may have missed. But I have to say everything else was clean. The lights between the queen beds were not working at all. When we checked out the next day I notified the front desk, and they promptly called to have someone go to our room and fix or look at the problem. I would stay there again for sure! We enjoyed our stay, Thank you for making it pleasant.

Nice Stay

Nice room for a couple's visit to Minneapolis. I loved the lighted mirror in the bathroom. Room darkening shades and quiet floor meant a nice sleep.

Just OK

My wife and I stayed at the Westin on a Saturday night after having dinner in Minneapolis. The staff was very helpful and the room was good, for the most part. We did make a trip to the pool and hot tub while we were there and enjoyed both. There were multiple annoying things that came up that caused our stay to be "OK." The drinks we ordered at "The Bank" were over priced and watered down. In the room, our refrigerator wasn't working#and it had a lock on it so we had to call service to get a key, I've never seen that before# We wanted to put the leftovers from our dinner in the fridge so they ended up bringing up another mini fridge so we had this random fridge plugged in next to the entertainment center. The lights next to the bed didn't work and the coffee pot wasn't plugged in either. It was odd, nothing major but just things you don't want to have to deal with at a "4 star" hotel.

Will return when it isn't so cold

Lovely building and comfortable rooms. Will return next time I'm in Minnesota. Was close enought to the airport as I needed to catch an early flight but nicer than the regular hotels by the airports. There is parking charge but if you park yourself it is inexpensive. And much better then other large cities.

Westin defined hospitality and comfort

My stay at the Minneapolis Westin location could not have been any better. The staff is truly first class. I came in tired and travel weary from the blizzard. The associate who checked me in commented that Fridays can be a bit more active in the hotel and upgraded me into a room that was situated at the end of the hallway in the corner. I didn't hear a sound all night. The associate’s compassion and customer service was greatly appreciated. As expected, the room was well appointed, clean, and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint is the lack of free Wi-Fi. I found heated parking across the street, connected to the hotel by the skyway, and reasonably priced for downtown. Room service was great and the gentleman who brought the tray was very professional and polite. I would absolutely recommend this location to others and will place this hotel at the top of my list when staying in downtown Minneapolis again. For those watching budgets, there are no vending options in the hotel. Consider brining in bottled water/beverages/snacks to avoid the more expensive in room beverages and snacks.

Wonderful hotel!

My wife and I stayed at the Westin for our anniversary. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it. Easy access to the skyway and nearby hotspots like Prohibition, fantastic hot tub and pool, great bar, and the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. The only thing I would improve is the soundproofing on the hotel room door - everything in the hallway was very audible all night. That's it though. I will definitely stay there again!

Beautiful Place

Everything was wonderful Except for the partying in an adjoin room from 2-3:30 at night. The security came up and told them to quiet down but then they started up again. Wish they had monitored more closely and stuck to their policy to remove them from the hotel.
