The Marquette by Hilton teems with exquisite comfort and style. With a myriad of guest amenities, the four-star Minneapolis hotel draws both business and leisure travelers. Within blocks of world-class shopping, sporting venues, theatre and cuisine, this Twin Cities Hilton also connects across the downtown via Skyway. Unwind at the Marq VII Lounge or request a treadmill for a private in-room workout (fees apply). No visit is complete without stopping by the luminous Crystal Court. Better yet, Basil's Restaurant has a front row view.

Dining

Dining options include Basil's Restaurant which offers dramatic views over Crystal Court. The Marq VII Lounge in the lobby features a full lunch and dinner menu, plus happy hour specials.

Rooms

The contemporary furniture in the 281 deluxe guest rooms is more soft and refined than sleek and edgy. Refreshing sea colors with warm sandy touches decorate the space, while punches of royal blue and city views add drama. A spacious work area features a half-moon shaped desk with enhanced lighting. A pillow top mattress with high thread count sheets, a cozy duvet and oversized feather pillows make for a dreamy night of sleep.

Property features

A special feature of The Marquette is its creative incorporation into the IDS Center. This architectural gem connects to the hotel through the glass-enclosed Crystal Court, which boasts a dramatic glass canopy soaring 121 feet high, lush botanical space and a towering water fountain. The IDS Center is connected to downtown Minneapolis via Skyway.

Highlights

  • Connected to the majestic Crystal Court and IDS Center

Indifferent

Somewhat indifferent about the stay. I needed to check in very late due to a flight issue. I called the hotel and the manager was very helpful and accommodating. However the following day no one came to the room to clean by my return to the room at 930pm. I ordered room serive one night and put my tray outside the room after I was finished however it was never taken. Lastly parking charges were incorrectly put on my invoice I had to settle with the front desk but they handled that politely. Would tell others to try different hotels but am indifferent about my stay

Family Baseball Trip

The six of us my two sons one's wife and one's girlfriend came to Minneapolis with my wife and I to attend the Twins & Indians Saturday day game. I reserved 3 rooms at the Marquette and they all commented about how large the rooms and beds were. We didn't spend a lot of time in the rooms because the location of the hotel offers a ton of opportunities to visit the many restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Staff was always greeting us and the hotel clerks thanked us many times for staying there. The parking was convenient and came with the room. Walking distance to Target Field, which we love that! This is our second time we've stayed here within the past year, both times for baseball games. We'll stay at the Marquette again if and when we come to Minneapolis again...of course as long as we get a good rate!! Have Fun!! Randy R.

Weekend Stay

My friends and I stayed at the Marquette for just a night and found it enjoyable and totally worth it! The staff was really friendly and cognizant of our weary faces when we arrived at 2am after a long drive. The room was large - complete with an entrance hallway, big writing desk and giant windows to look over the city from. That the hotel is connected to the adjoining shopping center is definitely a perk. Great location too! I'd definitely stay here again when in Minneapolis!

Fantastic Downtown Minneapolis Hotel

Very nice accommodations. A superior downtown location. Navigating Minneapolis' one way streets can be a nuisance, but once you get there you will have a wonderful experience. The modern color scheme and decor takes some getting used to.

Gorgeous Overnight Stay

I reserved a hotel room for just one night for a work party that was downtown Minneapolis. My room was so beautiful and comfortable, it was almost more enjoyable than the party! The next morning I woke up and ordered breakfast (eggs benedict and coffee) and it was delicious, delivered to my door in 20 minutes. It was the best morning after a party I've had the room was lovely and the service was exceptional. Definitely booking a room next year!

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

If you're planning on getting dolled up for a night out or just want to get pampered, Rocco Altobelli Salon is next door to the hotel in the IDS Tower. You don't even have to walk outside I stepped from the hotel lobby to the indoor IDS Tower and up the escalator to the salon for my makeup appointment.

Great night away

The hotel we have stated at many times. Went to the cities to see a concert. Stayed here and had price ledges to the executive lounge. Also located right downtown close to everything. Skyway connected! No pool. Expensive to park as can be expected when downtown.
