Modern elegance with stunning views of Crystal Court

The Marquette by Hilton teems with exquisite comfort and style. With a myriad of guest amenities, the four-star Minneapolis hotel draws both business and leisure travelers. Within blocks of world-class shopping, sporting venues, theatre and cuisine, this Twin Cities Hilton also connects across the downtown via Skyway. Unwind at the Marq VII Lounge or request a treadmill for a private in-room workout (fees apply). No visit is complete without stopping by the luminous Crystal Court. Better yet, Basil's Restaurant has a front row view.

Highlights

  • Connected to the majestic Crystal Court and IDS Center
  • The Foshay suite has a direct view of the Foshay Tower -- the first skyscraper built west of the Mississippi
  • Knock out your workout in the privacy of your own room with an in-room treadmill (fees apply)
  • Request a terrace seat at Basil's Restaurant for Crystal Court views

Rooms

The contemporary furniture in the 281 deluxe guest rooms is more soft and refined than sleek and edgy. Refreshing sea colors with warm sandy touches decorate the space, while punches of royal blue and city views add drama. A spacious work area features a half-moon shaped desk with enhanced lighting. A pillow top mattress with high thread count sheets, a cozy duvet and oversized feather pillows make for a dreamy night of sleep.

Features

A special feature of The Marquette is its creative incorporation into the IDS Center. This architectural gem connects to the hotel through the glass-enclosed Crystal Court, which boasts a dramatic glass canopy soaring 121 feet high, lush botanical space and a towering water fountain. The IDS Center is connected to downtown Minneapolis via Skyway.

Dining

Dining options include Basil's Restaurant which offers dramatic views over Crystal Court. The Marq VII Lounge in the lobby features a full lunch and dinner menu, plus happy hour specials.

A night at the Marquette

I had been to the Marquette about 5 years ago and had a wonderful experience. When we decided to go to the Theater in December it was one of the first hotel's that came to mind. It was also listed on the Hennepin Theater Trust site. :) The hotel was clean, and the staff extremely pleasant. I spoke to Brian the evening before our stay confirming our reservation and inquiring about parking. Brian made sure we had good parking and a very nice room. I will most definately stay at the Marquette again.

The rooms are spacious! Much larger than your typical hotel room. We were there for one night and the location was perfect a few blocks from great restaurants and bars.

Weekend Getaway

I truly enjoyed this hotel and the experience. They were centrally located and easily accessible to the rail and buses. Loved the restaurants located at and near the hotel. Will come back to Minneapolis and WILL stay at the Marquette Hilton.

[...]

Stayed there on a recent Saturday for a girl's night out. We arrived at 5pm and our room was not ready. We waited a good half hour while they finished cleaning it. The room we were given was practically part of the elevator bay right across from the ice machine. [...] None of us got any sleep as drunken idiots decided to hang out by the elevators for a couple hours screaming and laughing right outside our room. Despite us asking them to quiet down, it went on (& off & on) several times throughout the night. A hotel of that caliber with as many weddings as it appeared to be hosting should make attempts to keep things quiet after midnight. The location is great and the parking I had included in our rate was very convenient.

much needed getaway

one night stay was to have a much needed 'night on the town' with my husband. we stayed with the intention of having cocktails and fine dining without having to worry about driving anywhere. downtown minneapolis is a beautiful, fun, diverse city. we had tequila shots and 'guac' at BARRIOS, irish wiskey and 'chips', at KIERANS PUB. (with alittle live bagpipe music thrown in) BRADSTREET's mixologist created THE BEST Gimlet and Sidecar we have ever had. All within walking distance from the wonderful Marquette Hilton.
