Dressed in soft golds and crisp white, the hypo-allergenic down filled pillows and soft sheets promise a great night's sleep. Stay connected with high-speed Internet access (fees apply), and recharge laptops, cell phones and media essentials with convenient desktop outlets. Play tunes on the MP3 docking station or catch a movie on the flat-screen HDTV. Bathrooms include premium bath products, plush towels and rainfall showers. Features
The Hotel Minneapolis, Autograph Collection capitalizes on the original turn-of-the-20th-century bank architecture. Elegant marble columns, authentic bank vaults and dramatic ceilings are fused with soft modern influences. Groovy light fixtures and warm candy colors punctuate the seating area and accent walls. Sophisticated palates love the on-site restaurant Max, featuring innovative regional cuisine. The menu features yummy grilled flatbreads, and seafood, meat and poultry dishes with a twist. Nosh on small plates and imbibe savory drinks in the bar. Restaurant Max is open for dinner every night and lunch during the week.

Nice Hotel - Not worth regular price payment

Well, nice place with a few issues. Cons- - Rooms smaller than most - No pool or Hot tub / Whirlpool - Deposit of $100.00 / night needed for "incidentals" - Expensive items in little shop - Pillows are too soft - Woke up with neck pain and headache each day - Valet parking only - at $34.00 /Day - Wireless internet is $14.00 / day unless Rewards member - Breakfast is $17.00 per person at attached restaurant - Wrong sodas dispensed from machines for $2.00 however soda in shop is $3.00 each - Pro - SkyWalk Access - Con - (limited hours) Pros: - Secure - Card needed after hours and all the time in elevator - Clean - Friendly and helpful staff - Good area knowledge - Located 1 block from METRO trains - Mini fridge available upon request for room - Free WiFi in the lobby - Connected restaurant / Bar (although expensive) - Quiet for the most part - Beds are comfy - located near cheaper parking (about $14 - $18 per day) - SkyWalk Access (limited hours)

great girls weekend

Had a great time at the Hotel Minnepolis. We arrived one night early and we were not able to negotiate the same rate as our reservation for the other days. Nice big room and very clean. Did not have a fridge or microwave but they were very accomodating and brought us a small fridge and an additional chair. Valet service was great!

Perfect Location

I stayed here with a friend to celebrate my birthday in Minneapolis. The room was great, very sleek and modern. The only complaint I have really is that valet parking is $30/night and there are few other options. You could walk a few blocks to park in a public lot but that didn't seem safe. So for convenience and safety, we decided to pay the $30. Valet staff were very nice though, and we didn't wait for more than 5 minutes at the most.

Great location downtown for shopping!

Nice hotel. Smallish room but King bed and upscale linens, large TV, modern bathroom and decor. Free wifi only in the lobby unfortunately, $10 per day in room was a drawback. Valet parking $30 per night also pricey but had in/out privileges. Perfect location very close to Nicollet Mall area shopping, restaurants and light rail line to airport and Mall of America.

Awesome Deal!

Couldn't believe I was only paying $90.00 a night for this hotel with a flight/hotel package. Wonderful place to stay and the beds are amazingly comfortable! Flat screen tv for tv lovers.

Key's Restaurant on 7th Street, just off of 2nd Ave. Inexpensive and really good food. Something for everyone. Also, not far from the Convention Center is Lotus Vietnamese Restaurant. All their food is fresh, delicious, and inexpensive.

Great Value for Rate Paid

This was my second stay at this hotel, the first was a couple years ago when it was an independent boutique hotel. I reserved an upgraded autograph king room which was an upgrade in description (city view) and price. The first room I was assigned was very dark and cramped with dingy carpet that needs to be stretched due to gathering. In questioning the front desk, they said all the king rooms were basically the same and they didn't know why there are different king room types/descriptions. After advising that I paid more for an upgraded king with a city view, they put me in a concierge king. It was a little bigger and had more light. There was no city view or concierge, it was just a higher floor. The front desk said there really are not any king rooms with city views. Walls were fairly scuffed but the carpet was much cleaner. The furnishings and bathroom fixtures are what you would expect in a 4* boutique hotel. It is probably just time to refresh the paint and replace the carpet. The lobby and bar area are very impressive and grand. Unfortunately, I did not get to enjoy the space because there was a wedding reception being held in most of the common areas. A temporary/mobile bar was set up in the public computer area with only one bartender/server who had to travel a good distance to retrieve kitchen items. It was difficult to get a drink when needed. She hustled but was put in a bad situation. I believe this hotel has taken a step down in cleanliness and service since becoming affiliated. Not sure I believe what the desk told me about all kings being the same. Especially since the second room was much better than the first. All that said, given the great rate, it was a very good value. Overall I would give it 3.5 stars if that was an option.

For weekend stays you can save significantly on parking by parking less than one block away from hotel. Hotel parking is $30 and very nearby garage parking is $4 on weekends.

Beautiful Hotel Downtown

I stayed here for two nights for a wedding. I was able to stay with the bride in the presidential suite for the first night, which was absolutely amazing ~ in-mirror TV, various jet settings in the shower, etc. The staff was very accommodating and cordial, even treating the bride and her bridesmaids to champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. Location is great ~ close to great restaurants, bars and shopping.
