Good family stay.
We stayed overnight for the Lucky 7k fun run. Room was excellent and the breakfast was the best continental we've had. We would definitely stay again.

Good low season value
my stay was for 6 nights Oct/Nov 2011. I had a queen suite on the ground floor. I was afraid it might be noisy so close to the street, but it is a relatively quiet street. The room was clean. The mattress was extra firm (I prefer softer), there were 5 pillows some fiberfill some feather/down. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was buffet style with a standard variety of hot and cold items. Stays over monday thru thursday night included a single menu supper (i.e. Hamburgers with bakedbeans, french fries, salad and dessert). It is a short walk to the parks along the mississipi river and to the light rail to/from the airport.

Short walk from hotel
The Guthrie theater is a great place to see the mississippi river and lighted bridges(different color lights every month) at night. At the top of the escalator is a 175 ft glass enclosed cantilever bridge(with outside seats too) and you don't need to purchase admission to see it. (But I heard the shows are great too)

Wedding
Mostly good, execpt if you had a problem, seemed like it depended who was on desk. Ask to have rooms together - said they couldn't change anything made thru Orbitz. 88 Year old mother needed to be near and they were fighting this.

Good location
I didn't know there would be a charge for parking our rental car. I found out just before we went. I was told that the cost would be $15 per day but it turned out to be $19 plus tax. We only drove the car 3 out of 6 days.

Nice accommodations for a fair price
The included breakfast went way beyond "continental". The location is great for the river front waking and bike paths, Old Mill Museum, theater, or the Viking stadium.

Short walk from hotel
The Old Spaghetti Factory had good food at a fair price. Every entree included a drink, salad, and ice cream. Also, check out the view from the "endless bridge" at the nearby Guthrie Theater. It's amazing and free.

Excellent place to stay with children
I traveled as a single mom with three kids ages 13, 4, & 1 for a full week. The hotel was wonderful. The breakfast was better than the kids get at home and the free dinners and beverages during the weeknights were a great surprise too. I hardly had to buy a meal elsewhere! The parking was pricey but if you stay 7 days you get a deal. The kids loved the waterpark and it was not over crowded at all. It felt like home away from home. The only annoying part was that the cleaning lady kept unplugging the lamp to vacuum and I'd have to keep plugging it back in, so if that's my worst note it was great!

Things to do: We went to the Arboretum in Chaska for a wedding and it was a beautiful place to visit. We went to the Minnesota Zoo and that was so much fun for the kids, they had so many animals. We of course visited the Mall of America several times and tried the Amusement Park, Aquarium and Mini Golf course and all were great! Oh and we had to eat at the 5-8 Club for a Juicy Lucy burger because we saw it on the Travel Channel Man vs Food! We would def come back and stay here again!

Great accomodations
This hotel has a great location and is about a 3 minute walk to the Mississippi River. Many attractions and entertainment are in walking distance. The hotel is clean and neat. The breakfast is excellent and included breakfast meats. The evening meal was also excellent and light with beer and wine. The desk staff members were very pleasnat and helpful. I fully recommend this hotel and would stay there again. There is also a public parking lot across the street for $6 a day across from Dunn Brothers.
