The location was perfect for the convention I attended at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The staff was friendly and ... helpful. I didn't have time to check out the fitness center or the pool. My only complaint was the parking fees. Even for hotel guests there is a $17 charge per night for parking.

Room service must have forgotten my breakfast order which was placed outside my door the prior evening. About 20 min after I ... called, I heard plates rattling, but it wasn't my order. After another 20 min or so, I received two breakfasts, but they forgot the toast on both of them and charged me for the large pot of coffee I had ordered (6 cups) but only delivered a small pot (3 cups). They were very nice about it, but it was almost 1 hour later before I received my breakfast. They did let me stay an extra one-and-a-half hours past checkout time, though.

Great night in the city!
QuietNightMeg Sep 28, 2009
My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt for a night away from the kids! We found the location (at the far south end of the ... Nicollet Mall) was good. Many fun restaraunts/bars were within walking distance. The food and bar scene AT the hotel wasn't good while we were there - but that was fine with us! The room was fine, but if you're looking for frills or a big shower/tub this isn't the place for you. I will say the bed was fabulous - super comfortable with tons of pillows! Slept great! The staff was helpful. Our first room was right off the elevator bank so I wasn't happy (because all we wanted was a quiet night). The gentleman at the front desk was very accomodating and gave us a wonderful quiet room without any questions asked!

We left our hearts in Minneapolis
Roll Tide Sep 16, 2009
When we go back to Minneapolis we will stay at the Hyatt Regency again. The location is perfect, the staff is great, and ... there is plenty to do. There are lots of great restaurants and the Hyatt is right in the middle of them, along with having its own great restaurants. The people of Minneapolis were very friendly and helpful every where we went. The transportation system was easy to use although they need to publish some kind of guide so you can figure out where the different bus lines run. Overall our first trip to Minneapolis was great and hopefully will not be our last.

Hyatt stay Minneapolis
me Sep 6, 2009
My Husband, Son and I stayed at the Hyatt in Minneapolis to attend my Daughter's wedding during labor day weekend. While the ... location is great, for the money it isn't worth it. Everything at the Hotel cost extra, such as using the fitness rooms, and the parking is outrageous. The staff was generally unfriendly and not helpful, we asked to have a lightbulb replaced as the desk light did not work, after asking three times it still did not happen. The lobby is beautiful, the romms are not very spacious, the bathrooms are very small and have not ventalation, however there is a large dressing area with a ful length mirror. The amentities do not include any refridge, no microwave, but there is a one cup coffemaker which makes really bad coffee!
