Fantastic deal and great location

If you don't mind walking a few blocks to nearby destinations, this is a great place to stay. I had a late check-in and the staff was very nice and professional. Super easy and pain free check-in. The room was on the 12th floor in one of the corners so I had a good view of the city. Big bed, lots of pillows, absolutely everything I needed for my nights stay. The building was being renovated so finding the entrance was a little difficult. Overall, a fantastic experience and I will definitely stay there again.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Target Field and Target Center are merely 15 minutes away and very easy to get to. Save parking costs and walk from the hotel to the games. Hotel parking is $17/day compared to $13 per game or a $10 cab ride one way.

Great weekend getaway

Everything was great. Nice accommodations. The only issue that set me off at the very beginning was during check in at the front desk, the man helping me 'rolled his eyes at me' while I was trying to talk to him. Totally inappropriate and unprofessional. I called him on it and he did straighten out. Not a good way to start a nice holiday weekend but all in all, the hotel was fantastic! Thank you.

Hyatt on Nicollet Mall

Location and service were excellent. Room over-looking pool ok but would prefer different room view. Lack of hot tub was a negative.

Not worth it...

The hotel was ok, it was a little difficult to find because it was tucked away. The room was nice and clean, but they charged for parking and internet service. If I would have known I would have stayed somewhere else. Disappointing...

OK Hotel in Minneapolis

OK Hotel. Extra charge for parking, and WiFi. Restaurant choices in hotel were limited - sports bar, or very expensive sea food restaurant.

Good hotel if it's at a good price

The Hyatt Regency was a cheap buy during the winter, and at the price, I was happy. The service is good, the people are nice, and the rooms are spacious, fairly modern, and clean. Possible detractions: The rooms aren't the newest in the business, and the hotel charges for wifi. Also, I'm sure the rooms are more expensive when there is not five feet of snow on the ground -- my happiness with the hotel would be less at a higher price.

Nice but dirty

The Lobby and restaurants are very nice but the room was dirty. All the books, including the Hyatt's booklett was sticky and dusty. The remote for the television was sticky and dirty. In the closet they had a plastic bag with an additional pillow & blanket. I decided to remove the down comforter on the bed and use the extra blanket. The blanket had a black stain right in the middle. The rooms need major cleaning and updating.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

To get to the Mall of the Americas you can walk through the Skyway and catch the public rail which the last stop is the mall and it's only $1.75 each way.
