Graves Hotel - Best Choice Downtown Mpls

We live 10 minutes from downtown but we stay at the Graves when we want to spoil ourselves and go out on the town without having to worry about driving. This is THE best of the best. Within walking distance of all of the major spots, most comfortable beds, big screen tv, tv in the bathroom...everything. We always get room service in the morning and either of the restaurants in the hotel will let you bring your food and drinks up to your room! I could live at the Graves!

Graves 601 - A great hotel

I had business at the Target Center, which is directly across the street from the Graves. A Starbucks is also in the same complex as the hotel and Hard Rock Cafe. The bedding is wonderful, decor is contemporary. Great amenities. Friendly staff... every single person was friendly from front desk to valet. Clean and reasonably priced (after doing a bit of searching.) I will definitely stay there again. Only downside is that the wireless service is $19.99 per day. Atrocious.

Everyone was so professional.

Everyone was so professional. The rooms and bedding were the cleanest I have ever encountered. The only downside is that when you need ice for a cooler you need to call for ice from room service, which usually took about 15-25 minutes to deliever. Very ridiculous.......put ice machines in for peoples convienence.

The hotel was very swank and upscale.

The hotel was very swank and upscale. The parking valet was expensive, $28 dollars a day, so I used the block E facility next to the motel for less than half of the hotel price. My wife would have preferred a tub in the bath area as only a shower was available. We enjoyed a room service breakfast one morning that was very well prepared. The hotel restaurant was pricey and right next to the bar. Some guests there and in the dining area were very noisey and detracted from the overall dining experience. We were on the 14th floor but could hear street noise from sirens below even though we were not on the street side of the building. The front desk and service staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. We had one erroneus charge from the mini-bar which we never used but it was removed when I brought it to the attention of the front desk at checkout.

Unbeatable locationfor the price

Because of our concert tickets at the Target Center across the street, I wanted to be close to save time while enjoying ourselves before the show. The prime location of the Graves allowed us to walk to dinner before hand and to our favorite bars after the show! I will definatley be comming back.

Fantastic Getaway

The hotel is located next to so many entertainment and dining options, since I was in town for a concert I figured it was the best choice. I chose a corner suite which really did have the best view of the city and everyone that I had dealings with were very attentive and kind. By far the best travel experience I've had in years...

Well worth a stay

I have stayed at Graves 601 a few times now and couldn't ask for a better experience. Hence why I have returned. Good location, clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff and the bed and massage shower are to die for. A particularly nice touch is each time I have checked in, within 15 minutes ice is brought to the room. Saves those annoying hallway hunts. The only qualm I have is the cost of valet parking. But block E parking ramp is 2 minutes walk away at only $13 for 24 hours. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking at staying in Minneapolis. It isn't the cheapest hotel, but it isn't the most expensive either. Worth every star

Solera Restaurant, a five minute walk away is moderately priced and has a fantastic selection of wine and tapas with service that matches that of Graves 601.
