Get the best of both worlds just minutes from downtown
Enjoy downtown convenience without downtown prices at the Doubletree Hotel Minneapolis-Park Place. Perfect for girls night out!
I was greeted by the front desk person right upon walking in, I was not made to wait at all, I was given warm fresh baked cookies and my room was bright, smelled and looked very clean, and my bed was extremely comfortable. Room was a nice size. I stayed in the Two Double Beds.

We had a girls night out planned, all the hotels downtown were booked up, we wanted something well priced but still close, the hotel was only 3.16miles from downtown and our cab ride was only $20 with tip.

The front desk staff did a wonderful job did not have to wait but a couple minutes to check in. They were also very helpful with directions and informtion.

Just Fine
Went to "Cavalia" and this was a GREAT place to stay. We walked to and from the show and felt very safe. Good variety of places to eat close by as well as shopping if we would have had time.

Just Okay
Our check out was at 12:00 noon, but the maid knocks on our door 10:00 am. Why can't they wait until noon to start knocking on doors. We were out late and didn't need a wake up call!

The hotel had a delicious breakfast buffet and of course the hot cookies were delicious. However, the front desk girl was not very friendly or helpful.

Decent Family Hotel
The hotel was decent and had a nice pool area. However, there was a bug inside our bed sheets when we pulled down the covers to go to bed. It was hard to sleep after finding this bug.
