Great view! but.....
So I am 19 and everyone else i went with was 19 and 20 and the lady at the front desk kept sending us to place that were 21+ very upsetting when we got there and we couldnt get in. and the room we were in had two full beds instead of two queens.

Good location for downtown experience
Stayed one night for a weekend trip to Mpls and had a good experience. The only complain was that the room was a bit small.

Went out on the town with some friends. Short Walking distance and easy to get a cab if need be.

Great City Hotel
I stayed here with a friend so we could have a night on the town. It is right in the center of all the awesome Minneapolis night life. It also has a pretty cool outside sky garden and a great view. The bed and bathtub were huge too! will definitely stay here again.

Great Value, close to events
I was there with some friends to party and head over to first avenue to the bars. They had an AWESOME balcony with a view of the historic Foshay tower, and the rooms were very classy. The value was perfect. The parking charges were a little out of whack tho, $11 a night after they validate. Should be free

Perfect
Check in and out took less than 6 minutes combined... The room was very clean and pretty. I liked the pillows, comforter and general room layout. Good amenities- black out eye mask, lavender pillow mist and ear plugs- didn't use them but thought that was nifty. We had a king and it was roomy and comfy. Shower pressure was good and stayed hot until the end. The only complaint I would make was the heater was either difficult to work or didn't work well... I thought it was on and it sounded like something was happening but it never got that toasty... coming from CA I was tiny bit chilly but the comforter and sheets were enough. Still that was in no way a deal breaker I would stay here next time no questions.

Great staff, clean room, but...
The hotel staff were all so nice and helpful and the rooms were clean, despite the hallway outside the room having a really weird, bad smell. Luckily it didn't go into the room at all. The noise level at this hotel, though, is crazy. Due to its prime location it was very busy and party central- you know its bad when you receive earplugs on your bed when you arrive. However, I do have to say that the staff took care of any issues immediately! So its a good place to stay if you don't have an issue with noise. :-)

Great Value
Great location if you're looking for a place to stay near Target Field - if you don't mind a 5-10 minute walk. The Crowne also has lots of bar and restaurant options nearby. The hotel itself and our rooms were very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Jim the bartender is one the more entertaining people you'll ever meet! I would definitely stay there again.

We used this hotel as a meeting spot for a night out with friends. Great location to attractions in downtown Minneapolis. Great value compared to the quality of the hotel and proximity to nightlife activities.

had out of town guests come in to town for the roller derby at the convention center.. it was a beautiful room; clean and very spaceous!! recommend highly!!
