Fun Weekend Trip
When I first checked in I had an issue with my reservation. This website had sent the hotel the wrong card to charge for my stay but the staff was very quick and efficient about resolving the issue. They were also very knowledgeable about the layout of the hotel and informed us where our room and the pool, workout room, etc. was located. The room was spacious but not as clean as I thought it might be around the TVs. Overall, the stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.

If you have a chance, stop by Number 4 in downtown Mankato. The food and atmosphere are amazing!

This Grand Stay disappointed a little bit. Many surfaces in the room had not been dusted in some time and there was debris from ealier guests left around the nightstands. The table in the kitchen hadn't been really cleaned, just wiped off. Nothing to make one run screaming from the room, but not quite what is expected. The staff was prompt and effecient at check-in. The saving grace of the stay was the rate. With a litlte more attention to housekeeping the property would easily get another star. That being said, I would recommend this hotel, hoping this is an abberation. Other Grand Stays have been in the "That's Good Stuff" catagory

Overnight stay
Friendly staff. Room was a little dark and depressing. Bed was just ok. Breakfast, however, was very good!!

River Hills Mall is very close and has good shopping. If you want a good spa, Liv Aveda is just across the street from the Mall.

Fabulous!
I stayed at the GrandStay Mankato while attending an overnight conference. The entire hotel stay from check-in to room to check-out was fantastic. I had prompt and courteous service each time approaching the desk and the room was spotless and perfectly equipped for my needs. I highly recommend staying at this hotel, with or without families.

A Nice Get Away!
We enjoyed our stay at the GrandStay. We only spent 1 night, but had a quiet relaxing time. Room was nice, staff was very friendly and helpful. We did some shopping while in town (the mall was just down the road). We enjoyed appetizers next door at Wildcats Bar and Grill. It was a reasonable price and great get away.

My Grandstay in Kato
Easy check in, friendly staff and a very nice room to get away for a night in. Also free wifi that had great links to local attractions.

Concert-goers
Great hotel
We went to the concert in town and didn't want to drive home after since we are about an hour away. We loved the more intimate room setting since we don't get out to hotels much. The jacuzzi was fine since we don't swim. The DVD player was a great addition to the room. We will be staying at a GrandStay again when we get the chance.
