Good Overnight Spot

The hotel is easy to get to being at the intersection of several major highways. It's close to a Subway, Perkins and McDonald's. However, the bathroom smelled funny and the rooms are definitely showing their age.

severly disapointed

Stayed 4 nights to say the least it was never a dull moment from the front desk arguing with a man with a dog the first night to the loud parties to people fighting in the room next door at 3 am. Spend the extra money and stay some place else. Room is outdated burns on the floor non matching wall paper. More like a crack house than a hotel.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

If in mankato you must have breakfast at the bakers square.

Christmas Stay

We went to Mankato to celebrate Christmas, and did that at the pool. Even though the pool was a smaller size, the staff was great, and they helped us with everything we asked.

It was okay, lots of children

Great hotel for children. Pool was 4 foot deep all around great for the boys. Small pool in general. The staff were friendly and children were to be heard throughout the hotel until 10:30. Decent breakfast including waffles. Not a bad stay pool was clean. We were in a room on the main floor and near the pool. I am sure it is quieter upstairs.

Days Inn Mankato

This was a great setting for me while getting my son settled into his 1st year in college. There was a excellent walking area right behind the hotel to unwind from all the stress of sending the first one off so far away. The staff was great in helping me get my directions back to the airport, since I had to be on the road at 4am! When we come to see our son, we'll definitely be staying with you guys!

Comfortable and Friendly

I attended my daughters Master's degree ceremony. The hotel was in a very convenient location to Minnesota state. The staff was accomodating and the rooms clean. We also took advantage of a small state park with a walking trail right next door. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable.
