The good, the bad, and the really ugly!
They advertised that they had a shuttle to the airport and we had to get to the airport by 6 Am. The only shuttle ran at 5 AM and it is only 10 minutes away. Needless to say, we had to take a cab for $24. Also, they were under construction, so the restaurant was torn up. We had to walk a mile for dinner. We had a room for my son and it was marked non-smoking, but smelled like a major ashtray. They did find us another room right away. We were just using this as a stop over for an early flight. I would use the Days Innn closer to the airport and get a cab. BTW, they mistakenly showed me that the room went for $74.99 and I paid [...]$109. RIp off!!!!!

Int Falls Hotel Stay
I have stayed at this hotel for 25 years. Recently, Air Service was cut by the local carrier. There is no way to take a plane from I-Falls after noon and get anywhere. It's unfortunate as it's not the hotel's fault, but rather Pinnacle Airlines. don't stay there, but go to Minneapolis for the night if you have to go the next day.

Many kid activities
I had to wait for quite a while to check in. There was one staff person and 5 people ahead of me. Otherwise, a nice place. The pool and activity area was really nice for the kids. There was a short (but steep) path to the river.

Anniversary Getaway
Had a great deal on their "early bird" dinner and then wandered the gardens and took the trail to the river. Had a great breakfast the following morning. Road trip that day to a larger community for shopping. Another quiet evening at the hotel and then some shopping in IF. Forgot my pillows and no problem having them sent to me!

Easy in, easy out location. Centrally located in International Falls - which is exactly what we needed!

Nice view, but don't expect comfort
During my stay at this hotel, It appeared great on the outside, but rundown inside. The beds were old, you sunk in them. The food was alright, nothing to write home about though. The amenities were lacking in the room. The TV kept cutting out every few minutes which made it difficult to watch. The toiletries were low upon arrival, and we had to call for more. The toilet seat was not flush with the floor and when you sat on it it moved around (caulking wasn't secure). Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who wasn't looking for something cheap as this was the highest priced one in International Falls, are lacking in maintenance.

My review of Holiday Inn INTERNATIONAL FALLS
I have stayed here before and was happy, however this time my room was not ready when I arrived and had to wait, and then the carpet in the room was notably dirty.

Above average hotel with beautiful grounds
Very nice pool and whirlpool, arcade & pool table in large, open recreation area, comfy room, several dining options on-site, beautiful location on the river with a landscaped walk-way, quiet
