NEWLY RENOVATED Guests must be 21 years of age or older and have a Valid Credit Card in their name to stay. Credit Cards only accepted, No Cash Will Be Accepted. Welcome to the Minneapolis Golden Valley Pride of Super 8. This newly renovated, Triple A approved Super 8 is located off of Highway 394, and a short three miles to the center of downtown Minneapolis. Our location offers easy access to all of the major Minneapolis venues, like: The Metrodome, the home of the Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Vikings. Target Center, home to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The University of Minnesota, the home of Big Ten Gopher sports. Enjoy all of these venues or take in a day of shopping at one of many downtown shopping outlets. Traveling on business You will find our location to be exactly what you are looking for. Because we are centrally located, getting to that business meeting is a cinch. Our 99 guest rooms are well appointed and all include wireless high speed internet, hair dryers, complimentary news paper delivered to your room every morning, coffee makers and irons and boards. Mediocre

Very ordinary. Needs refurbishing desperately. Staff was friendly and helpful. Over priced.

monday blahs

great location great price-quiet- now the bad part reserved a car thru enterprise in st.cloud-took me 4 hrs to get a car-that ruined my trip to mpls next time i will try a combo deal car/hotel? plan ? and 1 more thing-i slept ALONE monday night too :( the complimentry cookie from super 8 was just right !

Great place

I checked in, got a free upgrade, was very nice. I like this place. Location is a great, right off 394. Great morning breakfast. Highly recommend.

Good Deal

Perfect location, right next to a great casual dining spot. Easy check in, decent room, wi-fi had great signal. It was everything I needed in a room.

Cozy and Clean!

I needed a clean place to sleep while on a short trip to Minneapolis. I was a bit skeptical after seeing some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised by the courteous front desk, clean room, and overall experience. There is usually a shortage of channels to choose from, but during my one night stay, I was able to enjoy the same shows I see at home. The breakfast in the morning was tasty, and I noticed a workout room on my way out. The motel was quiet and perfect for a short stay. Will definitely be visiting here again when on a short trip.

Fantastic honeymoon

The hotel was clean and close too everthing. The staff was very nice polit and helpful the cleaning staff was wonderful our room was always stocked with towels or anything we needed overall the hotel was wonderful. However the only downfall was no pool

Glee trip

The front desk staff were very friendly, always smiling and willing to help. The housekeeping staff were the same..everyone had a smile on their face. The room was a little small but it was clean and comfortable.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

There's a great little strip mall about 4 miles from the hotel. Take a right on Market, a left on Laurel and a right on Winnetka. Stay on Winnetka for about a mile and you'll see it on your right. There's a Noodles and Company, D'Amico and Sons, Starbucks, Pancheros, Dairy Queen, Orange Julius and others. Very convenient.
