Hyatt Place Minneapolis Eden Prairie

Room was very spacious, beds comfortable, enjoyed flat screen TV and breakfast. Only thing missing was a hot tub. Would go again.

Housekeeping was slow and forgetful and the front desk staff was unapologetic about it. Arrangements had been made for shuttle service for a wedding reception and the staff knew nothing about it, so it couldn't be used. No coffee provided during the daytime so they can hawk their Starbucks knock off.

The location was very good for the things that we intended to do in the Twin Cities. The hotel staff was accommodating, but there were issues. We had two rooms, and one room (non-smoking) smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, while the other was very musty and smelled like a damp basement. The staff immediately switched us into different rooms, which were much better. The hotel staff also told us that they had switched cleaning suppliers, as the previous cleaners had a strong objectionable odor. I would have to agree, as the hall ways smelled like cheap air freshener. There were also noise issues, but this is typical of many hotels in the summer time. There was a large group of teenagers travelling together (four large vans in the parking lot), and they appeared to be dispersed throughout the hotel. This was the fourth hotel I had stayed in in 2 weeks, and two of the four had noise issues. Overall, good location and nice, clean, modern hotel. I would probably stay there again, although there are other choices in the area.

We stayed at this hotel for our "girls" weekend. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It was perfect for the three of us with the two full size beds and the sofa bed. The 42" flat screen TV was great. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was very good. You can't beat this hotel for the price. Will definitely return.

The hotel was clean with a good complimentary breakfast. I liked that they had a mini "deli" type counter near the front desk where you could purchase food 24/7. They also had a Starbucks in the hotel (a plus!) Our room, on the first floor, was spacious, but it had a significant draft near the window. If I go again, I will stay on a higher floor.

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating and the room was a good size. The bathroom (particularly the bathtub) looked like it was in need of repair and looked a bit grubby. In the room there is a note that suggests that breakfast may be served in your room - but there was no menu to order from, nor was there any hotel information beyond a card near the phone for local numbers.

I've stayed at other Hyatt Place Hotels and thought we'd give Eden Prairie a try. It is located close to highways and places to eat. The Hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff very cordial. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and has a great flat screen TV. Linens are nice and beds are comfortable.The bathroom is a bit small but the dressing areas and sink are separate, so it is fine. Good parking, location and very well priced for the service and amenities. Breakfast was nice...good variety and always replenished.

It was a nice hotel. Very near to the activities that we wanted. Needed more t.v. channels. There wasn't much of selection. No hot tub - a bit of a bummer.

extrodinary accomodations for the price

We came to the city for a Wild hockey game and a Viking football game---it was everything we needed and more. Great access to the city with so much nearby. Our weekend was hassle and worry free. The beds were great and the room was spacious. I'LL BE BACK
