Stay was perfect for 1 night

The pool and hot tub were excellent. Although the sign said no children allowed after 10pm and there were children in there. That was a little disappointing. I felt this stay was perfect for us for one night, but I would not have stayed here any longer than that.

Just a quick trip to Duluth for some great shopping and fantastic dining! The location of the Econo Lodge Airport was perfect for us to access great shopping in short order. Our stay wasn't long, but most enjoyable and the breakfast at the hotel was a nice bonus.

Eh. Its ok.

We decided last minute to stay overnite. Husband had an appt. the next day. It was a decent motel. The staff wasn't unfriendly, just indifferent. No smiles, hellos, nothing. And for me, it was alot of money just for a place to sleep.

Great staff, bad bed.

Bad - TV remote didn't work, took three tries to get one that did. Bed was terrible, felt the springs through the mattress. Comforter had cigarette burn on the inside when turned down. Tub had cigarette burn marks on the ledge. This was a non-smoking room. Good - Friendly staff, did all they could about TV remote. The room was clean.

Tejas is across the parking lot. I had the best steak that I can remember in a long time. It was the ranch hand I think.

Better values and choices out there...

Friendly staff, but rooms need a serious upgrade. Hotel is nothing special. Breakfast is weak and Fox News is on TV in the breakfast room. You're not allowed to change the channel. Would have been nice to watch the local station during my meal.

Gooseberry

I chose this place because all other hotels were booked. The beds could be improved. Not too comfortable. I would compare it to motel 6. Their web pictures looks better than what was seen. Price seemed too much for the value. Pool was small and hot tub temp. could be warmer. Overall wall decor/looks in hall ways and rooms looked like it could use some work. Continental breakfast was probably the best. Being that we stayed only one night it was ok. Stayed at better in the area. We came back from visiting Gooseberry Falls.
