The hotel was clean, the staff was always helpful and the location was perfect for visiting family right in town. Location to Minneapolis/St. Paul, malls, shopping were all convenient. We had a great stay. This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I would stay here again.

Weekend Warrior
We had a pleasant experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Renee especially did and excellent job accomodating us as we arrived early. She told us our room was not quite ready but if we have lunch she will give us a call when everything was ready. The breakfast staff was great at keeping the food stocked for everyone who stayed that weekend. The majority of the people were there for Warrior Dash at Afton Alps. Our room was nice and cool when we walked in and very clean. Then next morning after leaving for the Dash and coming back we found our room was cleaned again and the bed was made and bathroom restocked. I was not expecting a cleaning being that we were only staying two night. Great experience.

It is very caonvenient to have Applebee's right across the parking lot. They have great happy hour deals on food and drinks and great hours. It is super convenient.

Great Hotel Friendly staff
Visited friends. Went to some local places and visited St Paul. Trip was great nothing missing. Always enjoy visiting MN and experiencing "Minnesota Nice".

Wonderful warm pool, would stay again!
This is the best motel/hotel I have ever been in. It was the quietist motel, the best breakfast and, for me, the most wonderfel warm pool. I can't say enough.

Convenient Stay for Christmas
The host was very helpful in getting us settled into the hotel. With bad weather all around, it was nice to get a nice, warm, comfortable place to stay for the holiday.

Great stay
Despite being pretty full, the hotel was very quiet and exceptionally clean. We were there for one weekday continental breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the selections, but during the weekend breakfasts things were scaled back quite a bit and many of the better choices were not available, which was disappointing. Make-your-own waffles were very nice, though! Staff wasn't all that friendly, but they didn't need to be - we were impressed enough with our room to want to stay again. Pool was very nice, with a good sized hot tub.

Nice Hotel
Splendid place to spend a weekend, housekeeping did a particularly excellent job. Plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance.

Country Inn - Cottage Grove, MN
We used the hotel as a base when visiting our grandchildren and we brought them to the hotel to use the pool and spend time with us. The staff was very helpful and did their best to serve our grandchildren even though they were not guests of the hotel. We really felt at home...
