Clean, convenient place to stay
It's not a luxury motel, but adequate. We did have one concern this trip when there were some teenagers, apparently not staying there, who were lurking around and looked in our window.

Needs some help
The pool was closed due to the health inspector shutting it down. A discount should have been offered due to the lack of the pool amenities. The rooms stunk and the bed was flimsy and uncomfortable.

Better than expected
The hotel staff is the strong point of this property, and considering the star level and price, gave far superior service to what one might expert. Though not brand new by any means, the hotel was clean and well maintained. Considering the price, this hotel is a good value and will not offer any negative surprises. The hotel does have a small pool which appeared to be very well maintained. The free breakfast was not too extensive, a few choices of very good coffee and donuts; neither of which were ever allowed to fall below of very respectable level. We decided that upon our next visit to Burnsville we will try to stay at the Prime Rate...clean, convenient and cost effective.

Burnsville Center is less than 10 minutes by car and offers all of the famous retailers. Buck Hill (skiing) is less than 15 minutes away.

Decent inexpensive and convenient
This motel is about what one would expect for the price and the neighborhood. It's set off on the side of the interstate with several similar motels of comparable quality. The pool and hot tub stand out among those other motels and the wifi is superior to them. Unfortunately the complementary breakfast is not very good, the coffee weak and the donuts cakey and bland. Maid service was erratic in their timing and seemed more concerned with socializing with each other and getting their tasks over with than providing quality service. Overall though it is a good value for the suburban Minneapolis market and the location is very convenient.

Chi Chi and Chicho
quick over night stay
Just needed a hotel for the night and this was perfect. We didn't need all the extra flash, just a clean room, and bed and shower. Nothing spectacular, but for the price it was perfect, met our needs well.
