We were greeted nicely upon arrival by staff on Friday. Saturday around 11:45am we returned to our room to dress for a family wedding. A cleaning lady knocked on the door & I told her that we would be gone by 2:00pm. She stated that staff does not
stay that late, so the room was not cleaned that day for us. She did bring us fresh towels & was very pleasant to do so. On Sunday morning we went downstairs for breakfast 3 times after 7:00am. The hotel was filled because we saw people being turned away. Big motorcycle event with riders returning home from Sturgis stopped for a good nights sleep. By the 4th time we stayed & waited again for the waffle iron to be free. Several people left & went out for breakfast because they could not even enter the breakfast room..it was crowded with no place to sit. There were only 2 tables with 8 chairs. Most people were very patience but were taking cereal up to their rooms then coming back down for coffee when the room emptied a bit more. An elderly couple visiting their grandkids had to go to a restaurant to buy their meal because they both need to take their medicine with a morning meal & they were getting nervous & feeling weak. It was not in their budget to buy a meal when breakfast was included. 3 biker guys came down with us the 2nd time just to get coffee then returned around 9:15am with their wives to eat & they were told breakfast ended at 9:00. The fruit, milk & batter was already removed from the dinning area. I feel that because it was so crowded the staff should have extended the breakfast time so that all the paying patrons could have eaten. Several couples told us "next time we will stay across the street...they have a bigger dinning room over there & we don't have to wait for coffee in the morning, I realize that breakfast needs to end before noon however I nor my husband never had a waffle. We had hot water snatched a powdered hot chocolate packet & decided to drive for a while & stop for an early lunch somewhere on the way. Not exactly a relaxing breakfast before a 5 hour drive home. Could have been handled without that staff member being so rude towards people waiting or without their morning coffee. Not a pretty morning, bikers left hungry & still sleepy riding in the rain.

Hotel was clean & comfortable. As far as breakfast included...don't count on eating at a table. Practice balancing coffee & plate on your knee before staying here if it is full up. Nice Jolly Green Giant statue history & museum within walking distance from hotel.
.No charge to see.
My Mother and I were in Iowa/MN for the weekend for her 60th class reunion. While there we visited with Mom's family that we had not seen in 8 or more years.
The Super 8 was a wonderful place to call home each evening. The contential breakfast
was just the perfect touch to start each day.
The room was nice, clean and comfortable. My Mom was very appreciative of it having a microwave and refrigerator in it.
We will be coming back in two years to visit family again and will be staying at the Super 8 again.
Thank you Super 8

Short walk from hotel
There was a wonderful Diner right next door, a service station, Dairy Queen... and WAl-Mart!
The hotel was reasonably clean and the staff was friendly. Ok if you're looking at it only as a stop for the night. The beds were uncomfortable and it was pricey for what it was. They offered free breakfast though, which was ok. There are
definitely not many restaurant options around other than country kitchen, pizza hut, and mc donalds.
