Radisson Hotel Bloomington By Mall of America

Great stay save that there was wet carpet smell about the location. This is no doubt due to the water park attached. There was only one desk clerk checking in customers and a rather large line when I was checking in. Would stay here again.

We love staying at the Radisson easy to get to and easy to get to Mall and Ikea.

We rented the room to have a place for the family while we were playing at the fabulous waterpark. The room was gorgeous. I wish we could have spent the night, but the weather was supposed to turn bad during the night. We didn't actually spend the night, but I wish we had.

The location for The Mall of America was great; we went for a baseball trip at the Metrodome and still was not a bad location for the downtown area. The waterpark was good but did get a bit crowded with local people. I did notice there were a lot of people checking in that booked the waterpark on Groupon; it would be nice for the guest of the hotel not to be crowded by others. Our little guys really liked the bunk beds; different from other hotels. Overall good stay.

Our stay at the Radisson Hotel over the Christmas Holiday week exceeded our expectations. I have to give kudos to the kitchen for never failing to impress us with the freshness and savoriness of the meals! In room dining was an experience I didn't think needed any improvement. As a matter of fact, the food was so good we ate in our room whenever we had a chance! I highly recommend the Walleye burger or the Walleye fingers( I think that's what they are called). Prepared to perfection with the flaky deliciousness making my mouth water just thinking about it!!! Even the pizza in the Water park was top notch!!

Great location and the waterpark is nice, if a bit crowded...

Check in was terrible there was only one staff person to start until there was a line of 4 people, the girl at the desk could not figure out how to complete the check in (that was prepaid) the room was stated as being 4 3 adults and 1 child and they originally put us in a room with 1 bed. I tried to get waterpark ticketss at check in and was told to go to the waterpark who then told me to go back to the front desk (they did do something about the frustration over buying tickets and did get us a new room) When taking a shower an old bar of soap was discovered on the soap shelf. The best part was the friendly staff in the restaraunt and the lady running the small coffee shop who sold us a milk for the young child even though she was technically closed. I guess the adage you get what you paid for is true but I expected better from this hotel chain for the price I paid. The waterpark is nice but they need to do a better job of telling you prices for lockers that should be complimentary or take quarters (not cost 6 dollars). They need to send staff around the waterpark more frequently to collect towels it was very cluttered with dirty wet towel for the number of people there. The water temp or the air temp need to be a little warmer the child was shivering and wanted to leave almost immediately because the water was too cold.

Was not as good as usual. Several requests were not taken care of upon arrival.

Was surprised that hotel was not more "family friendly" Not enough places to grab snack items, or breakfast items to take to room(long line at Bistro in lobby. Not enough seating in lobby Staff was above average but not enough of them to serve the long lines of guests for check in questions or to get tickets to water park Rooms were Ok but sheets did not fit the beds and room temp was hard to control. Kleenex & toilet paper was not refreshed & ran out & no laundry bags in room We foung the water park to be very dirty with hardly any restrooms to be found-we have enjoyed other indoor water parks but this one was over crowded and understaffed. All in all we would rate this a 3 star stay which was overpriced for amenites

The location cannot be beat for MSP. Being close to MOA, restaurants, and the attached water park was fantastic. The rooms were large, clean and updated. Had a fantastic weekend!
