Embassy Suites Minneapolis - Airport

We booked a night at the Embassy Suites as a winter get away and could not have been more pleased. We stayed in the 2 room suite and it was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The pool and spa were open later than most hotels, which was also appreciated. There was a free happy hour until 7:30pm included as well as a fantastic breakfast buffet which was served until 10a.m. The later breakfast time was much appreciated as we were able to sleep in and still partake in the fabulous buffet. Another plus about this hotel was the atria is spacious and good for strolling through, sitting and having a drink, or just people watching. The hotel restaurant has upscale food, but they also have a coffee shop that has great food for lesser price and more informal. Another plus is the free shuttle that runs from the hotel to the MOA on an hourly basis. This hotel is a keeper and we will definitely be returning again soon!

This was a very nice hotel, with a beautiful atrium and a convenient location. When I first checked in, there was a strange noise coming from the AC in my room. I told the front desk, and they switched me to an upgraded room in a couple minutes. Very nice and helpful staff.

We went to this hotel on our honeymoon 19 years ago and stayed in the honeymoon suite. It has since been sold and updated. We prepaid on Orbitz at a GREAT price for a small suite! Then, when my husband checked in, he mentioned that we had stayed there 19 years ago on our honeymoon. They upgraded our room to the type of suite we had 19 years ago for FREEEEEEE! Then, when we entered our room an hour or so later, there was a hand written anniversary card signed by all desk workers, bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and whipped cream! And... to top it off, they offered us a late check out on Sunday. They offer free transportation to and from the Mall of America and the nearby airport. There were wonderful free made to order omelets each morning with other breakfast foods and drinks. Beautiful lobby! Needless to say, we were very impressed!

We stayed here three nights. I was nervous of the proximiy to the airport regarding the noise from the planes. The room was very well insulated and this was not a problem. The rest of the hotel was as expected of an Embassy Suites.

A dated hotel in desperate need of renovation and new furnishings. There were TWO weddings the weekend stayed so getting sleep was practically impossible, especially after the second one with guests running up and down corridors at 1am, yelling at each other across the atrium and nobody on the hotel staff doing anything about stopping this. On the Sunday our room wasn't cleaned until 4pm and only after we were a) told nobody was going to do it even tho a cleaner was doing the room right next door, b) the cleaners expressed surprise that we wanted the room cleaned and c) we complained to the hotel front desk! Food was mediocre at best, especially at breakfast. And the TV remotes were so old and used that you had to stand on the bed to point one at the TV and get it to work! The location is fantastic for the Mall, IKEA, the light rail and the airport and we had great views over the wildlife refuge. That’s about all that’s good to say.

I was traveling on business and found the hotel to be a nice location to work, however it was a little noisy, due to a wedding that weekend. Food in both the restaurant and bar was excellent (Salmon was top notch!) and it was so convenient to have a Caribou Coffee shop in the hotel, too - so I could stay up late and work on my project.

Stranded in Minneapolis and didn't want a flea-bag hotel. Clean, great shuttle to the airport to- and -from, didn't mind paying a bit more... Exactly what I wanted.

We were visiting Colleges in the St Paul area, the complimentary breakfast was very good, and the managers reception was nice as well. The room was clean.
