Crowne Plaza Suites MSP AIRPORT - MALL OF AMERICA

Very good. Great accommodations. Shuttle was adequate, rooms great, clean, and staff very nice, knowledgeable.

We really enjoyed being so close to the airport and the Mall of America. Watching the airplanes fly over the hotel was really fun for the kids. The staff was so helpful and kind. Real great atmosphere.

We went shopping at the Mall of America. Rooms did not feel like they were clean and had a smell of plastic. Room was advertised to have a refrigerator and a microwave oven. Neither were provided.

This hotel was very conveniently located to all in the area. The hotel was clean and comfortable. However, for the price, there was nothing special about it. We stayed 2 1/2 days. We shopped all one day and when we returned back to the hotel, exhausted, we realized that no one had cleaned our room. We had to call and then felt like we had to leave for a while to allow them to do their job. They responded very quickly and were very apologetic.

Unfortunately, this stay at the Crowne Plaza did not measure up with the usual service and ammenities I've experienced with this hotel chain in the recent past. The rooms were old and not sound proof in the least. I could hear people running up and down the hall all night from 10:00PM till the wee hours of the morning. I had to call the front desk at 3:00AM to request that they ask the guests in the room next to mine to be quiet. To the credit of the hotel security, the noise was resolved in about 15 minutes.

I have stayed at this hotel now for the past 3 business trips that I've had in this area. I am glad that I don't need to rent a car, the hotel shuttle services will pick you up from the airport (at any time) and take you to the hotel. They also have a shuttle service that takes you to the Mall of America. I would stay at this same hotel for every visit that I have in this area. Friendly staff as well.

Stay, park and fly. Shuttle bus was prompt both on drop off and pick up. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable.

It was a great place to stay and will stay there again.

Check in was easy, the room was clean, and could be darkened well. Bed was a little slept-in (one side of the mattress was more worn than the other.) The tv worked great, microwave and mini-fridge in the room. Lobby was nice, bar was not too expensive, breakfast area was ok on the expenses. Free shuttle to the MOA and airport, which was very convenient.

Holiday Inn is our first choice of hotels because they offer a suite at an affordable price. Mostly we look for a place we can return home to and we pick up a sandwich or soup that we can warm up in our room and relax for the evening. The room was large and the microwave was small and some what difficult to operate. We went to Minneapolis/St Paul to trace my father's ancestry. It was very productive trip and enjoyable. The hotel was centrally located and allowed us to travel to different parts of the county to visit family and contact historical societies.
