Billing issues, uncooperative management . . would not recommend!
My daughter and I stayed at this Country Inn at the end of December 2011. The stay was fair to average, nothing special. Since that time, I have had endless billing issues with my credit/debit card with this hotel and the management there either does not care and/or will not cooperate. It's clear that all they care about is the almighty $$ and not guest satisfaction. I would not recommend staying here.

A weekend getaway
While the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable... there were a number of things that I would want to know about if I were the manager. At our breakfast, around 9 AM, the flatware was all gone except for spoons, the coffee was out, melon was out, and orange juice was out. I had to go looking for the staff to refill the coffee. The flatware was never refilled before we left the dining area. The oatmeal was poorly prepared and looked as though it was never stirred. All in all, mostly a regular contemporary 'hotel' breakfast. Someone should have had responsibility to keep the breakfast running smoothly. The room design was marginal. The armoire had an ironing board in it that made the hangers difficult to use and the lavatory counter was truly too short to deal with setting out the toiletries that one needs to unpack from a bag. No hooks for a toiletry bag either. As we departed, it took an effort to get the attention of the snacking and visiting desk staff. I would go back, because things were clean in the room and the bed was good, but they should pay better attention to detail.

I've stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Baltimore,Md once and had a WONDERFUL stay. Stayed twice in Houston, Tx. and first time in Bloomington,Mn. The staff; Reese,Rachel and Lisa are AWESOME! Country Inn and Suites will be our first choice for now on!! Luv it ,Luv it, Luv it!! Microwave and fridge in each room; that was a BIG PLUS. Great place to stay!!! Keep up the GREAT work!

A good price for a clean hotel
The room was kept clean and was very comfortable. The bed was a little too firm for my comfort. The breakfast buffet tasted fine, but had very little variety. I was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave and refrigerator in our room. We also enjoyed the flat screen T.V. once we figured out the remote. We really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. My kids enjoyed the free cookies.

Awesome!
This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! The rooms were very clean and the hotel was more than accommodating when we (2 families) asked to have side by side rooms. The hot tub and pool were in tip top shape and they even put on a kids movie at night for the kids to watch. More than enough clean towels available to use. The breakfast was not only unbelievable, it was free! Everything from eggs and potatoes to cereal and yogurt and bagels and more! Very clean also.
