Room was a smoking room and had a bad smell. The refrigerator had not been cleaned. Had red sticky spill inside. Asked to ... have it cleaned and returned after work and it had been wiped out and uplugged to defrost. Water was standing in the freezer and my water and soda were hot. Desk clerk had to come and clean it up. Cushions on sofa and chairs all had stains. Suite was just two ajoining rooms with the doors propped open. One was a living area and the other a bedroom. Desk in living room had no on-line access so I had to work in the bedroom.

The staff was very friendly and seemed eager to help. When I checked in I asked for a Non-smoking room and they first ... assigned me to a smoking room. But as soon as I brought it to their attention they quickly corrected it and even upgraded me to a non-smoking floor w/King bed. Bathrooms could be a little roomier, but every thing was clean. Very good deal for the money, and will stay there again. The carpet and apolostery needed steam cleaning but they were in the middle of completely remodeling the rooms so I dont expect that will be a problem in the future. It would also be nice if they had a microwave and fridge in the rooms but for the money, it was well worth it.

The morning we were to leave for our doctor appointment, we realized we didn't put the snow scraper in the vehicle. It was ... the day of a massive snowfall! The lady at the front desk went out to her vehicle and loaned us hers. The girls were so helpful! Our room was comfortable. We stay about 3-4 times a year hear when we visit cousins in the area before our doctor appointments.

The staff of the La Quinta was friendly and check in was easy. The price was good. However, the neighborhood is not real ... nice, though not the worst part of the area. The room was spacious with two double beds a desk, dresser, and tv. The vanity area was very spacious. There was some age wear, but for the most part, the room was nice. The cleaning was not real thorough, however, as there were popcorn kernels behind the bed stand. The beds were comfy, and overall, and though there were no amenities, it was a good hotel.

We needed a clean room and bathroom. Our stay in the hotel was very limited since we were gone all day for three days ... attending the PGA Championships. The room met our needs. However, the coffee was terrrible...good that a Starbucks was near.

I was very dissatisfied with the room they gave me on my first night at the hotel. my daughter has asthma - she had a hard ... time all night breathing because of the smell of mold. I was up all night because I could not sleep. the room and particularly the bathroom was so dirty, I could not take a bath that night. The staff did try to remedy the situation and offered me another room. I move to my new room the next morning. It was much cleaner although not perfect. It seems the first floor was still being renovated. Also, for a non smoking lobby- the lobby reeked of cigarette smell. I was disappointed with the lack of cleanliness at this hotel. I can understand old however it could have been cleaner. I'm glad I was only there 2 nights. I hope that the management will remedy the cleanliness of the rooms at least.
