Sleep deprived mom from this hotel
Very clean, but it was crowded
We were there for family reunion and we decided to stay together. To out dismay, the place was FULL of teenage sport teamS. At check-in we were offered a "choice" of staying on a supposedly quieter floor (all floors were full of teenagers in packs) and sign a "no party policy". The pool and elevators were constantly full with teenagers, no staff or chaperones to correct them. We managed to sleep in the quiet only to wake up at 2am with girls running/giggling/screaming down the hallway. We complained but we never heard anyone coming to tell them anything (what happened to the no party policy?) The intermittent running seemed to last until 5-6am. We only slept on and off... In the morning we didn't get an apology, WE had to mention the incidence and I reminded them about their #1 satisfaction guarantee ad.(other people apparently complained the noise on the 2nd floor) [...] All in all, the staff was friendly, courteous, helpful (quickly brought a shaving cream). But we were unhappy that nothing was really done to stop "the party" and our sleep was deprived. The room was very comfortable and clean. Bed was nice, carpet was nice, everything clean. Returning home, we contacted them, we received a complimentary night (valid for the next 3 months since our stay)with little argument. It was unfortunate because our daughters really enjoyed the pool and the room, but we were sleep deprived (imagine driving sleep deprived with children aboard; not a good idea) Nice hotel, street had Dunkin Donuts and other chain restaurants. But I'll make sure there's no teenager sport stuff next time.....or maybe stay at Hampton Inn nearby (has breakfast, better beds to fit 4 people; we stayed here to be close with family, booked 1 hour before for that reason) Expensive sleep deprived night with no breakfast.

The location suited me, OK for a suburban hotel I guess. First night they put me in a room with a spot light shinning in the window so the room never got dark. They said nobody ever complained about it before but accomidated me with a room switch the next day. Relatively clean and room was large. Friendly at the desk. No frills.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
20-25 minute drive to the Detroit Institute of Art which is a gem in a rusty town. Rivera murals are monumental and the rest of the collection reminds you of the wealth that was here in the early 20th century.

Location is well out of Detroit
Location is well out of Detroit but close to the businesses I was visiting. Basically a clean friendly atmosphere economically priced for business travellers. Taxi required to visit shopping centre restaurants etc.

Great location
We found this hotel to be in a great location near shopping and dining. Pool situation was ok, not very large pretty croweded while we there.
