The good and the bad
Went to visit a friend from high school. Didn't stay at hotel long, but when we were there the toilet didn't flush and a leak under sink in bathroom made carpet wet and remote to TV was very slow to respond. Very disappointing, but when we complained they got us another room that was in excellent shape.

Big rooms, clean, comfortable
For the money it's a great hotel! The hotel is a little hard to find. It's pushed back pretty far from the main road..thats really the only minor issue I had. The room was a nice size and the bathroom was huge. By far the biggest one in a hotel i've ever seen. It was very clean and comfortable. The bed was small (my fault for not getting a gueen). I checked out pretty early in the morning so I didn't see what the breakfast was like and the pool was closed (winter) so I didn't use that either. The man who checked me in was very polite and friendly..no problems there. All in all for the one night stay it was worth the money! I'd stay there again if needed.

Awesome for the price
My son just moved to Richmond so the location was great for us. We even went to the zoo how awesome.

Great Hotel, Great Price
Four female friends stayed in one suite. There was lots of room for us to get ready in the AM, sit around to watch TV or play cards at an actual kitchen table and chairs. The full size fridge kept our wine cold and the outdoor pool (a little small) cooled us down after a hard day of shopping. The only drawback was the double beds. Queen would have been sooo much nicer!

So bad, we cancelled our reservation
we checked in and went to the room. At first glance, it appeared clean, but kitchen floor and counters were sticky, dirt around room perimeter. Bedroom door had moulding broken as if someone had smashed their way into the room. It was a non smoking hotel, but room smelled of smoke. We instantly turned around and went back to the lobby where we cancelled the reservation. They offered an upgrade, but we didn't want any part of the hotel. [...] I would recommend to everyone to avoid this hotel.
