Head north, savvy travelers, to Detroit

Great stay
Room was more than expected. King with sofa bed and plenty of room. Clean roomsand area. Breakfest was good. Only drawback was fighting over one tv. definitely recommend for value and location

A week's stay at the Hyatt Plce Detroit/Utica
The ropm was clean, but there were ants in the bathroom and under the air conditioner, tiny little ants. Was told they would spray after we left. The closet was so small it was difficult to hang anything in it and there were only 3 drawers for two people. The carpet was stained . There was a small fridge but no microwave. They had dry cleaning available but no laundry facilities. The staff were friendly and helfpful. The location was great.

Great place to stay
We attended family events and this hotel was close to those events. The room was very clean, and very quiet. The front desk staff was extremely courteous and helpful. We used their food service and found the sandwiches to be of excellent quality. My son loved the cinnamon rolls. The breakfast provided was sufficient, with the option to purchase larger entrees, which is nice.

Burgers at the Red Ox Tavern across the street were great! Dave and Buster's is a short walk as well.

Our Favorite Place to Stay!
Whenever my wife and I go to Detroit we stay at the Hyatt in Utica. We don't mind driving a little out of our way for the comfortable stay we look forward to. We love the location. It is close to several restaurants and shopping. The staff is helpful and pleasant and we have literally never had any issues. No matter what we are in town for we will continue to stay here. Keep up the great work!

Wonderful hideaway vaca
Front desk staff was amazing! Friendly and a1 customer service! Mike and Lilly especially! Room wa perfect and very modern! Bed was amazing! Loved they offered room service and the proximity to great food! I'd stay again and again!

Careful! NO refund early departure!
No problems with the room or service, but got stuck paying for 3 nights when our travel plans changed and we had to leave earlier than originally planned. Cost about $350. For this reason I would urge caution to travelers considering the Hyatt Place in Utica, MI.
