Great hotel
The Homewood Suites was a very nice, yet affordable hotel. We enjoyed having a full kitchen in the room and took advantage of the breakfast buffet and swimming pool. Great for families with children. Would definitely come back again.

Up In the Air
Very good for us
Very convenient to the Oakland/Troy Airport, where I did some flight training. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet most mornings, and the hours served suited our needs. Staff very friendly, room was comfortable, and we would stay there again.

great place
nice hotel, staff were very friendly and accommodating. we were on the ground floor and the people above us were a bit noisy at night and in the am. pool was nice but a little chilly. Breakfast was great.

Will be back again next month
A group of us traveled to Detroit for a weekend conference and decided to stay 20 minutes away so we could save some money on the hotel. Overall we saved about $50 per night and was quite surprised with the stay. We were going to use the kitchen in the room to eat, but found ourselves digging in to the breakfast early in the morning since it was so good. While we were gone the maid came to replace the towels and make the bed... to my surprise they even picked up and folded my clothes that were laying on the bed. We asked for extra towels and they had them at the door within a few minutes. The only downfall was unlike a lot of the Hilton's I have stayed at, this one did not have the spa/hot tub with the pool.

Weekend get away
Very nice property - located near Somerset Mall and verious other stores (Walmart, Super Targer, Kohls, Dunhams, Marshalls, etc). An easy drive to and from Detroit and about 20 minutes to the Detroit Zoo. There are not a lot of restaurants really close by. You have to drive around to find them. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean and quiet. The pool area is nice (no hot tub). Beds are very firm.
