Everything was wonderful with this hotel! Great room, great staff, great jacuzzi, great bed, great location! Maybe someone says that the room layout is weird, I think its just fine! Every room is facing the lake, and every room is very big!! (at least for me and my boyfriend) My boyfriend and me do not mind that the jacuzzi is right beside the bed and no wall at all. We went there on May 6th with $59/night so we think it's valuable enough! It also has private beach and outdoor pool! Also free breakfast! But no toothpaste and toothbrush, which is not a problem. (But I forgot my toothpaste this time )

This hotel was nice, clean and had a great view of the Grand Traverse Bay. Rooms were big and up to date. Service was good, though the breakfast area was quit small. All in all, it was a great place to stay.

Parents night away--it was great!!!! The view of the bay from our room was simply lovely! We did some shopping, went out for meals etc. We liked having the jacuzzi, fridg. & coffee pot in the room. Off season rates were very reasonable. The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. We would certainly come back next time we need to run away from our children!!

We were in town for a wedding, and were not able to make check-in time. I called, around 9 pm and the front desk was very understanding and made arrangements for me to pick up my room key after hours. We arrived around midnight and the room looked great. The next morning, we woke up to a beautiful view of the sunrise on Grand Traverse Bay. Wow. The only thing we didn't like was that breakfast was served in the Office lobby which was not very spacious.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel due to the positive feedback we had read on various sites. We were unimpressed. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. That's it. The layout of the room was very bizarre. The bathroom sink (tiny) was in a seperate area than the toilet (timy room itself). The jacuzzi tub was literally 5 feet away from the bed with no wall or anything in between! The mattress was about as comfortable as sleeping on the floor, and the furniture was very dated. The balcony was so close to the others on either side, that if our slider was open, we could hear every conversation being held by our neighbors; at times, even what they were watching on t.v. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

We went wine tasting up Mission Pointe and just hung out on the water. It was still cold and snowed a bit so we didn't do any water sports. Very relaxing.

we went on this trip just as a relaxing vacation. The rooms were very clean and neat. The jacuzzi's in the rooms were wonderful and made it easy to relax. The beds were the only downfall. They were quite hard and uncomfortable. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking to relax and have a good time. The location was in the perfect spot in town and very close to many great resturants. Staff was very friendly also.

Pointes North is a very nice hotel with beautiful views of the bay and gorgeous sunsets.The outdoor pool was @ a very warm temperature and surrounded by rooms @ ground level that walked right out almost into that pool. You could see in the rooms around the pool and it felt as though you were invading the guests privacy by being in their private pool. The beds/pillows were not really extremely comfy so I would bring along my favorite pillow if I stayed again. It's a nice room for a couple with the jacuzzi tub right in the room but not really family oriented for 2 adults and 2 kids. Could have had more luggage stands but the closet was nice. Would stay again as a romantic get-away only.

The hotel was comfortable and suited all our needs; three of us went on a biking trip and the room was spacious, a separate sink and dressing area from the bathroom; it had a small refrigerator and microwave, which came in very handy; in the morning they served a small breakfast with danish, bagels, cold cereal and juice, coffee or hot tea; just the right combination to start your day; close distance to our bike trail and of course loads of shopping
