graduation party weekend
the staff was courteous and friendly. the room was neat . there are some things i would like to mention. the entry to the rooms is from the outside. the lobby is small and the continental breakfast is basic. the pool area is nice but it's outside. my husband went to the office around 11:00 at night to get some information and the front desk/lobby was closed and the lights were off so we had to wait until the following morning. it's a clean, cheap, no frills place to stay the night.

Good deal
I got a decent spacious room with a jacuzzi. The main light switch and the alarm clock was not working but these are minor issues for me. The staff was friendly. The breakfast included self-baked waffle which is fine but the 9.30 closure of breakfast is too early. The web site says checkout is at 12 noon whereas the hotel says it's at 11am.

Visit to Traverse City for Marching Band
Overall a reasonable experience. Rooms were fine for the nostalga of the vintage of the building. Staff was pleasant and the breakfast was satisfying. Convience of parking was a plus. The WIFI was valuable to me and after staff reset it, it worked well, except for a period of time.

A little outdated, but unlike other reveiws my room was clean, no odd smells, everything worked fine, no bugs and no one bothered us. for the winter season price (41.00 a night)the place was a good choice and we would return. as for summer pricing (up to 222.00 a night)we would want something more up to date.

Red lobster was wonderful-endless shrimp-delicious, great service, and ENDLESS SHRIMP , all we wanted for $16.00. Our October trip to northern Michigan was beautful, the fall color was at its height.

It is nice for the price. Updated furniture and very clean room. Would be nice to have a small table in the room to play cards on. The ice machine was turned off for some reason, and was told to go across the street to a different hotel to get some, not gonna happen.

Visit to parents.
We needed a place to sleep as my parents bought a small condo and we just are not comfortable staying with them. This hotel fit the bill because of the price. The staff was friendly. Rooms are just ok but have what you need to sleep and shower. We did have to ask for chairs and they said they are still waiting for some to be delivered. Ok and I would stay again when I visit my parents.

Nice little motel
Very clean room. Was like an upgraded mom and pop run motel. Front desk staff polite. Only problems I had was the tv remote didn't work and al the buttons wore off the heat controler, and no instructions on how to work it. Kindda a guessing game for climate comfort. But other than those minor things a very nice place to stay.
