The Westin Southfield Detroit

its was not that good of an experience, cause when we got there, no one told us we need a credit card with 60 dollars. we got in @ 930pm we did nt get check in untill 11 oclock because we had to find a bank to deposit money..... but the hotel was beautiful ... a great place to be and see.

Close to downtown Detroit. Great location right off the Lodge Fwy. Very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again! Paid extra for the Pure Comfort room designed for those with allergies and asthma- worth the extra cost! Only complaint is that rooms are not equipped with microwaves, but are available for an additional fee.

Southfield is 40-60 minutes from most of what you'd want to visit in the metro Detroit area for most business trips. 30 minutes from DTW, short ride to Royal Oak, downtown Detroit, etc. The hotel also has a decent bar/lounge/restaurant and other things on site and in the immediate area.

This hotel is a little hard to find if you don't know your way around the area. Once I was there, I was very pleased with the accomodations. There's a decent restaurant in the hotel, but not much else in the immediate neighborhood.

I was so exhausted from my flight but as soon I got into the hotel, all my weary went away and even it was already late night, the staff ware still very nice and accommodating. She gave me some tips and driving direction on good restaurants in the area. When I got into my room, it was perfect. The bed is soft and relaxing. room design is classy. I would definitely stay again in this hotel when i come back

This is the second time I've stayed at the Westin and I am completely satisfied with their service, staff, room comfort and appeal of the room and hotel. The rooms and entire hotel are non-smoking, so the entire building smells very fresh and clean. I absolutely love their heavenly beds and heavenly showers. You can definitely relax and enjoy your stay at the Westin. They also have a lounge where they offer a variety of great cocktails and food. They don't have many amenities, but they are located close to many other businesses and attractions.

Had some trouble at check-in but they were very accomodating and provided us with tickets for each of us for the breakfast buffet. Rooms were nice, updated and clean. We had two rooms and they did get a little warm and if we weren't so exhausted we would have called down for somebody to check. Overall very good experience and helpful staff!

Room service was excellent despite the cost. Location was great and I even saw a celebrity.

After a little confusion at check in the stay at the Westin was very nice. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating.I would certainly return to this hotel on another trip. Also was given complimentary breakfast due to the check in mix up which was very nice of them to offer.

Away from downtown but central to some really neat stuff. Simple access to the freeway to get downtown or to any suburbs!!!
