Cheap Motel
If you are looking for a place to lay your head, then this is fine. Otherwise, you're wasting your money!

Filthy!!
My son and I stayed three nights. Beds were never made and room never cleaned. I had to go to the front desk ask for fresh towels from an attendant who could barely speak English. There was dried blood or human waste dripped on side of the top mattress (I have a photo). I asked for them to change out the mattress and to clean the room twice, and got no response. Fitfully slept just 2-3 hours each night. Just an awful experience.

Hotel wasn't the best kept place. It was kinda falling appart in pieces. toilet wasn't secure to the ground, tub looked dingy and dirty. The door to the room looked liked someone had busted in before. the door to the entire building in the back slammed shut and you could hear people moving around in the staircase to go to the second and third floors.

NEEDS TO BE BURNED
This review is strictly on the hotel itself. It needs to be burned to the ground and rebuilt. Our room was gross. The box spring on the bed was about 50 years old. It had blood on it. The floor was awful. We wouldn't even take our shoes off. Your shoes stuck to it. The sheets were rice paper thin. The blanket was all knotted, torn and just nasty. There was an old recliner in there that looked like they got it off the curb after someone else tossed it out. I slept on top of the bedspread for a lil while. My girlfriend wouldn't even stay in the room. It made her itch. She slept in the car. After a while, I joined her. NEVER AGAIN IN LIFE would we stay here. Even if the rate was FREE!

Simple hotel. Convenient location to access the Airport for early morning flights when snow coming down.

Short shuttle ride to airport for the early morning winter flights with snow falling. Very small, very simple hotel at inexpensive price.

Cheap trip
Super 8 Romulus/Detroit area
To be fair, this was not a trip I wanted to take anyways, and cost was a factor. That said, one would like to think that whether you pay $40 a night or $100 a night, that the room would be free from defects, the bathrooms wouldn't have cracks or stain in the tub, and you would be placed in a non-smoking room when you book a non-smoking room.

The old maxim that "you get what you pay for" was once again proven. The facility was clean and provided a reasonable amount of comfort, but in the four days that I stayed there, maid service came to the room once. On balance, it was conveniently located to the airport, and provided easy access to the interstate highway system. It is an ideal place for the business traveler on a budget. If one is looking for amenities, this is not the place for it.

We were not pleased with anything about this hotel. Staff was inadequate and rude, cooling system was not functioning properly and we were told that it really was cool air coming out when it was luke-warm. Breakfast was inadequate. We would never recommend this place to anyone
