Got stranded at airport
I got stranded at DTW and needed a palce to stay until the next day. I picked this hotel because of the 24 hour airport shuttle. The shuttle was prompt and the driver was courteous, about a 10 minute drive from the airport. Staff was very polite and attentive. The room was clean and the bathroom was as well. Bed was comfy, and sheets were nice. It was fine for what I needed, and good for the price (about $45). I had looked into staying at the Westin (airport hotel) but it was expensive because a lot of people were stranded in DTW because of Hurricane Sandy... their prices were about $200-300. The only problem was that the shuttle DOES NOT have the name of the hotel on it, it's a separate company and I didn't know that. They should specify so that one knows that the shuttle does not have Red Roff Inn written on it.

Good for the price!
Most of the reviews I've read say that the room is good for the price, and I agree. For only $50 I was put up in a fairly nice room. Nothing too fancy but clean and nice. Perfect place to sleep - exceeded my expectations!

Romantic evening
The hotel was really great, we checked in sort of late but that was okay. The room was really clean and was super nice for the price, I was a bit surprised. I will definitely be staying at this hotel more.

OK for the price
Only used this as a cheap place to stay overnite while awaiting our 6 AM departure to the airport. The bed, TV and room were OK but the window had a broken latch so it could not be closed but the weather was warm so it did not matter. The clerk said she would move us if we wished, and would report it to maintenence in the morning as it would have to be a major repair with a new part. Had a fridge and microwave. Did not stay for breakfast.

Red Romulus Roof
They were open and had our reservation ready. Plus 1. The non-smoking room they gave us smelled like smoke, the second room just smelled. It was very dirty, and over priced for what it was. But again they were open!

Clean, Convenient & Reasonable
Very convenient location - just minutes (-5), away from DTW airport: also awesome Italian restaurant, almost across the road, "Leonardo's". Great to eat-in, or to have dinner delivered, again awesome pizza and Italian food fare, wide variety of great food selections on menu!
