Avoid!

No locks on doors to hallway, no carpets in hallway. The room was old and dated, smelt of smoke. Bathroom was dirty, didn't use the shower. Couldn't wait to leave.

Bad weekend

The entire hotel had a musty and smokey smell There were no blankets on the the bed, only a sheet and a bed spred. There were no tissues in the room and only enough coffee to make one cup for two people in the room. The handicap ramp left a lot to be deseired. because I almost fell walking down it. It was too steep Our next stay in Bath New York at a Days in was wonderful with every thing we needed in the room and the price for two nights was very good

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Our experience at this hotel was far from enjoyable. The pictures on the website were not accurate. The hotel lobby and rooms were disgusting, dirty, sheets stained with blood and sweat. Beds you could feel the springs. Horrible smells permeating. Homeless people and suspicious people hanging by the front desk talking with staff which made us feel unsafe and unwelcome- they watched the clerk type and recieve personal information. Moral and professionalism was low- would the clerk allow people in our room, while we were guided blindly far away to a not so local Mcdonalds for food vs. the big boy still open next door!? Bad all around. After being shown several disgusting rooms we decided not to stay and make the long drive home- horribly inconvienienced! We have pictures if you care to see the extend of the nastyness!

SCARY!

The section the hotel I was in, was in repair. There were no hallway carpeting, no locks to enter. The non smoking room smelt as if there was a poker game earlier. The bathroom, well I just couldn't use it. The towels looked 10 years old. All in all, I couldn't wait till morning to check out.

Good Place

I like the place. The price is worth it. The person at the Desk/Counter was very kind and friendly. Motel was very close to the Airport. Bottled Water, Drinks (Coke/Pepsi) and snacks were available to purchase at ver decent price. I bought bottled water. Room was clean. I would go again.

"Amenity-Less Stay"

(FYI, [...], I thought I was paying for Days Inn at Metro and looked forward to their accommodations and complimentary breakfasts.) Metro Inn was a great disappointment and I would have moved to another motel if I hadn't already paid to stay there. My 91 yr. old mother was with me. I had signed up for 2 queen beds because she is a restless, noisy sleeper. We got 1 king bed. I was anticipating a coffee maker, microwave, & small refrigerator in the room. There was free coffee from 4:00 to 9:00am in the lobby. There wasn't even a clock or hair dryer. The worse part of our stay was the bathroom. It had a small vinyl tub with a plastic shower curtain. There were NO bars or handholds of any kind. I immediately went back to the office and asked if they had any handicapped bathrooms. No, all the same. My mother can't climb into a tub and stand up without something to hold onto. She had to bathe in the sink (which had no stopper.) The faucets on the sink and tub were both broken and it was difficult to adjust water temperature. The toilet was extremely slow to flush and we feared overflows. It was horrible! They only cleaned our room every other day. And we had to laugh at the view from our window. A trash can, work buckets, a pile of sand, and a concrete wall. I would not recommend this to anyone except maybe a businessman who wouldn't care about any amenities. Definitely NOT for any older people!

Adequate. Fair value for the price

Only spent a few hours overnight in preparation for an early morning flight. The motel is older and undergoing some renovations. The room was adequate, easily accessible, and quiet. Did not have the opportunity to check out any of the amenities. Staff was polite and friendly. Okay place to stay for short periods if you are not looking for high end amenities. Parking discount for parking and shuttle to the airport was reasonable; saved me the hassle of long-term parking at the airport.
