Pros and Cons
The location of the hotel is great to get to and from the airport, and the shuttle to the airport was prompt and the drivers helpful and friendly. The hotel must update bedding and mattresses before we stay again. The pillows were all flat and the mattresses were hard. Bad night sleep before a long flight to our destination.

Frustrated Traveler
No Park and Fly
The girl that worked behind the counter was more interested in smoking than the front desk. [...] We had to park our vehicle in a parking lot that cost us over $200. We won't use [...] La Quinta hotels.

Perfect for those ON THE GO!!
We had a very early flight and were coming from 2 hours out, so we decided that we should stay at a hotel overnight to make things easier. It was a good choice =P There are no frills about this hotel, but it was exactly what we needed. Clean, accommodating, and only 6 minutes from the airport! The SUPER PLUS is that there are 2 EXCELLENT restaurants nearby in walking distance - something I definitely didn't expect. That made our trip out worth it!

great location from the airport
arrived day before flight out of DTW. location was easy to find and easy to get to airport. Bed was not firm and quite cheeply made. another pillow would have been nice.

1 night business trip stay near airport
Arrived early evening Detroit Metro. Hotel shuttle was available for an easy 10 minute drop off. Was raining outside but front desk employee offered her umbrella to go across the street to get a bite to eat.

Great location for the night!!!
Was up there to see my brother and his family. The hotel was great nothing bad about it. Being close to the airport was fine with me, didn't hear the planes much at all. Very good stay and helpful staff!!

Great Hotel near Detroit Airport
This hotel was very close to the airport but didn't hear a plane all night or morning. The breakfast was simple but fresh and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. I arrived late at night and there is a restaurant across the parking lot that has good food for a good price. I was having problems printing my tickets at the business center and was helped right away and got my tickets. I was very pleased at this stay and will do it again.
