Hilton Garden Inn Detroit Metro Airport

Nice but very ordinary. No Wow factor. Rm 201 Hotel, there was poor water pressure in the shower. The handle was tough to set the water temp in the shower. The steam vent system did not work for the bathroom. The right window curtain had torn pieces that where noticeable for general appearance of the room. I had a fax sent from home to the desk and it took a while to retrieve as it seems the fax machine must have been out of paper. The staff was very courteous and did a great job overall. RJ Condrick

-No coffee in the lobby set up at &:15am just when you would expect it. Resturant staff said it "was not their job....tell the front desk staff". - Signed up for the airport shuttle and spent 5 minutes in the very slow elevators, to arrive 90 seconds late, to be informed that the shuttle left because a guest from the Hampton Inn next door had complianed about stopping at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Staff work extra hard to give you a good experience.

It was a place to relax before early marriage counseling class. VERY comfortable beds!

I was only looking for a quiet place to rest. I had a hard time finding it from the car rental area; it's down a "side street." The first night was OK; the second night was a disaster because some drunken 20-somethings were having a party on my floor. I put up with it for a while, but at 11:48 pm I called to complain to the front desk; it took about an hour for the slamming doors and loud voices to quit. They obviously did not take kindly to being told to quieten down. The loud protests continued into the front parking area, which my room faced. They finally left but then returned and slammed doors some more about 2:30 am. The desk clerk on duty had no idea what all had transpired when I checked out the next morning. It may not have been that important to them, but it was very upsetting to me. I was glad to leave.

We only stayed for the night as we had an early morning flight home after a wonderful vacation with family. The staff was wonderful and the room was very nice.

We were greeted with a smile. The receptionist was very courteous, efficient and professional. Our room was upgraded without requesting. The room itself was clean, perfectly stocked and comfortable.

The hotel was very clean and seemed very new. The staff was friendly, but the shuttle service driver, [...], was absolutely terrific. He went above and beyond what anyone could have expected. I'd stay back there just to have him drive us around!!

Spent the night at the hotel to be closer to the airport. Clean room and friendly staff. There were no problems.
