Four Points by Sheraton Detroit Metro Airport

Quick, efficient airport shuttle. Informed, pleasant check-in. Pleasant accomodations. Good food.

We were visiting family in Grosse Isle and for the money, Four Points was the best deal. Upon arrival, the hotel was decorated beautifully and it's great marketing to have the lobby opening up into the restaurant/bar. The evening hotel clerk was not overally friendly and neglected to even tell us to have a nice stay. Our floor was clearly under renovation as there was exposed drywall along the far end wall (along with the construction smell). Our room was pretty nice, we loved having a fridge and large TV. It was also a nice touch to have a bottle of complimentary water to greet us. Also have to commend the nice instructions to get our wireless computer going. The only real complaints would be that the doors have so many scratches and marks near the locks, it makes you wonder if someone tried to break in, the wardrobe closet needs some WD40, and the slamming of doors all night long doesn't allow for much sleep. The bathroom was so small- I've never seen just a corner vanity in a hotel with such a little countertop. Just enough towels for 1 shower each, with no additional towels for swimming (so we didn't), the shower curtain was about 6 inches too short in height and width(and torn) so their was water getting out of the shower. Also the hot/cold were reversed so that seemed a little dangerous if someone wasn't paying attention. Overall, I'm not sure it was worth it to drive the extra 20 minutes.

This is a nice hotel that is not very nice. Seems like they need to do a little maintainence. Nothing major and nothing that did not make the room comfortable. But little things-crack in the toliet seat, handle on sink falls off, etc. Also asked to get a cab, front desk didn't call when I asked so it took 45 min for a cab to come. Bar and grill was nice, but way too expensive for bar quality food. Seven bucs for a well drink??? Come on?

Almost no communication with staff except to complain about neighbors yelling in the hallway and slamming doors until well after midnight. Complaining didn't seem to make any difference.

We have stayed here several times before but this time we were given a room next to noisy elevator. Hotel had other vacant rooms available.

The Four Points by Sheraton Detroit Metro Airport, Romulus, Michigan was just ok. The location was right near airport so it was easy to get there but that was another reason to have noisier room. I woke up 5 a.m. because of the airplane landing sound. I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant. compare to price the quility of food is low and there were only one weitress so at first we couldn't even figure it out that place is open or not. Room was very neat and clean. I like the decoration of the room.

The room was incredibly comfortable and convenient. The bed was very comfortable the room was laid out well for working and resting. Free wifi was excellent.

After landing at 8:05 AM, calling for a shuttle 6 times, I finally took a cab at 10:10AM. My flight from NYC was faster. It's as simple as telling me, please take a cab as we are unable to send a driver, that would have made all the difference in the world. No room service available at 10:10 PM in a business hotel is unacceptable. The bar should have an attractive or intelligent bartender in stead of a caddy boy that would rather hang at the kitchen end of the bar than earn a tip and tend to the guests. The theme that I have seen in Four Points hotel prior as well is, hotel policy are inconsistent with the market you are seeking.

I got this room because they offer a 24 hour shuttle to the Metro Airport, and I needed to be there at 4am. Honestly other than that I wasn't expecting much, just a place to sleep and shower. When I arrived however, I was pleasantly surprised! It was one of the cleanest, nicest rooms I have ever stayed in! I'm talking hospital clean, which I never expect from a hotel. The bed was also extremely comfortable, not old with a saggy mattress like I've come to expect. Overall the experience here was excellent!! My only disappointment was that I had to leave so early in the morning. I will absolutely look for the same chain of hotels in the future.
