Had to pay for 2 nights but used only 1
Nice hotel - great bed - but we needed 1 night in Detroit and 1 night in Toledo and neither [...] not Marriott would let us substitute a Marriott hotel in Toledo for the 2nd night. No flexibility whatsoever and I am a Marriott Rewards member.

Very satisfied
This was just a quick overnight prior to a flight, but the facility was excellent, the staff helpful and the arrangement with the shuttle and car park service outstanding.

Hotel Review for Fairfield, Romulus
The location close to Detroit Metro Airpost and to Kwik Park makes it very convenient for long distance travel connections. It would be nice if the place had a restaurant.

Good value, courteous staff
I choose this hotel because it seemed to be the best value among others near the Detroit airport. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the big screen TV. The breakfast was much better than I expected--a wide variety of choices and the coffee was good. The exercise room had only three pieces of equipment. And keeping the pool open late isn't much convenience for families when couples are making out in it! The internet service is free but is as slow as molasses; faster connections will cost you. I'd also recommend choosing a room in the upper floors, since we could hear people walking above us through the ceiling of our first floor room.

Beirut, the Middle Eastern restaurant in the nearby shopping center, is terrific. The menu is quite extensive and the staff are very friendly.

a few glitches
Tried to swim but pool was full. Tried exercise room but my key didn't work. Slept and showered, went for breakfast to try the advertised quiche and there was none and hadn't been any according to reception desk.

Toramina's Pizza- great price-short walk- got large pizza,ribs,bread and pop for under $20 bucks!!! tasted great too!!! its better to pick up your order since their really busy
